William "Billy" Currington has racked up seven No. 1 hits over ten successful years including 2013's smash single "Hey Girl" and brand-new album We Are Tonight.
Born in 1973 and raised in Rincon, Georgia, Currington moved to Nashville after high school to pursue a career in country music, working for a concrete company to make ends meet and playing clubs and writing songs on the side. He eventually cut tracks for George Strait, Kenny Rogers and Mark Wills, which led to him signing to Mercury Nashville Records in 2003. His self-titled debut album came out later that year, featuring the singles "Walk a Little Straighter" about his relationship with his alcoholic stepfather, and "I Got A Feelin’", which reached the Top 5 on the country charts. His sophomore album Doin’ Something Right was released in 2005, spawning the singles "Why, Why, Why" and the number one hits "Must Be Doin’ Something Right" and "Good Directions", and selling over one million copies in the U.S. In 2008, Currington put out the track "Don’t", which climbed to number two on the charts and preceded the release of his third album Little Bit of Everything, also featuring number one singles "People Are Crazy" and "That’s How Country Boys Roll". His fourth studio album Enjoy Yourself came out in 2010 and its singles "Pretty Good at Drinkin’ Beer" and "Let Me Down Easy" also achieved number one status on the country charts. He was toured with the likes of Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Sugarland, playing concerts to ticket holders all over the country.

So far Ticketmaster has never disappointed me. Great service
I have been to 4 concerts previously at this venue. The sound quality at Billy Currington was by far the worst.
It was a great concert! Loved the music and overall experience Except for all the younger crowd in front of us that stood up the ENTIRE time! Made it so we could not see very well. Stage could be set higher as a fix? Possibly? No one wants to watch a live concert on a screen all night! No consideration by any of the people in front of us. Unfortunately Some of us are older and cannot stand throughout a concert anymore. Would have bought VIP tickets but they were for Standing Only. That was our only negative about it all!
It was such an amazing show I was on a Billy Currington high for the remainder of the weekend! Wish I could do it all over again! Hope he comes back soon wish Gary Allan came also!
Billy was amazing! He stage presence, his voice and the whole damn show was worth it. We had a great time and we’re happy he came to Edmonton.
Sound was terrible. Rock music so loud we could hardly hear his voice. Nothing like his songs we have enjoyed. Venue sitting is terrible for a short person like me. I will try to avoid attending any concerts there in the future.
The sound system is terrible. Could hardly hear the singer over the loud instruments. This is the second event we have been to, both were bad.
Awesome concert! Wish it was longer. I hope Billy comes back to Edmonton so that I can see him again! VIP at River Cree is the way to go! His concert could have been advertised better.
Billy Currington sounded fantastic; and the venue was perfect. I only wish he had played a longer set!
