BLS was great as usual. The Commodore was a great venue for the show. Seeing Zakk shred from 40 feet in front of you- priceless! BLS at the top of their game!!
for a ticket price so down to earth (dirt cheap ) , zakk wylde was completely out of this world phenominal , i just saw metallica live 3 weeks ago and figured that was it for my lifetime at 52 yrs old i would never see another act that amazing ; yet along came BLS and frontman Zakk Wylde , all i can say is WOWWA talk about bang for buck .
Black Label Society ~ Da Boyz of Rock N' Roll ~ Zakk Wylde – lead vocals, lead guitar, piano (1998–present) Nick Catanese – rhythm guitar (1999–present) John DeServio – bass (1999, 2005–present) Chad Szeliga – drums (2011–present) Black Label Society ~ Rules... Rock N' Roll Brothers & Sisters As Zakk quoted - are you ready - we are going to give you... "Alcohol fueled brewtality for the next millennium." [ZW] - Well, dammed impressed to of made it - to see Black Label Society - Live... it was an awesome Rock N' Roll show, it brought back my personal Heavy Metal Rock N' Roll Medicine - it was all there an acoustic Guitar feel, some old Zakk, some new Zakk - the Boyz did a killer cut of Acoustic guitar and blended drums, keyboards. It was truly a powerhouse Heavy Metal performance that kicks good ole Metal Rock N' Roll... music up a few notches, envisioning one's imagination of the Lyrical, along with Images of one's Life, Dreams and related Events.. It was a powerful and insightful evening that delivered what I expected - a high energy sonic assault high quality metal entertainment of the first order. In fact, the only thing better than a BLS recording is seeing the band live. As for what Black Label Society's music does for me - well here's to you - Life is Short - Accept Life On Life`s Terms – Make the Most of your It! Raise a little Hell – Just be you! Live Life!
Every band that played that night did a spectacular job! The whole night had rocked!
Loved the venue, loved the band! Already looking to visit Edmonton again for another show! Also loved you didn't have to wait in line ups for beer, and bathroom!
Excellent as always! BLS has never let me down. I'll never miss a show. The Burt Venue is my favorite. Thanks for the slammin evening once again!!!!!
Black label society is good anywhere you go even if you cant see. not the greatest venue to see a concert.
Had such an amazing time. It was great to see BLS in a small venue :)
The band was tight and on fire as usual Zakk is the man great solo with new striped flying V
Perfect size venue to see the show. Sound system was awesome would recommend anyone to go.. I will be back.
Wow, awesome band, great venue. Zakk Wylde is a god!!!
This was my first Black Label Society Concert. Zakk rocked the Guelph Concert Theatre!! Messer and Pop Evil were so awesome as well!! Protest the Hero was okay. BLS was soo awesomazing!!! (new word)
Awesome show! BLS... a life time experience! Blew my mind like always.
Great show. Great venue. We had lots of fun and will definitely see Black Label Society again.
Was worth every penny. Zakk knows how to put on a sick show and had a great setlist. Its just too bad he rarely comes to montreal as a headliner.
best concert i ever been to. if you havent seen bls go soon.
Small venue, great sound!! They had to cut back on the full equipment but sounded great.
Zakk Wylde never disappoints...he is a guitar GOD!!! They don't have bombs, fire or any over the top theatrics, they just play straight ahead Heavy Metal riffs!!! You can't go wrong at a BLS show!!!!
Great thing about this show was the contrast between acts. And there were no clunkers. 2Cents - good metal band, care about what they do. Clutch - veteran band, more rhythm, more blues than most metal, definitely worth buying some of their tracks. Children of Bodom - polished, seemed just as popular with crowd as Black Label Society Black Label Society - great songs, lots of energy, stage presence Venue: Sound Academy has friendly service.
