BLACK PISTOL FIRE IN CONCERT:
Hard-hitting blues rock duo Black Pistol Fire has been wowing crowds and steadily building a devoted fanbase since they got started in 2010. The group scorches through their amped-up blues with a punk rock fervor in concert, doling out fuzzy guitar riffs and booming drum fills that get crowds headbanging along with their furious tunes. Guitarist/singer Kevin McKeown delivers passionate solos in between his howled verses, and drummer Eric Owen keeps their fiery jams firing on all cylinders with his energetic, intricate beats. Black Pistol Fire don't hold back during their explosive live shows, and ticket buyers will love every heart-pounding second of their sets as they tear through favorites "Hipster Shakes", "Run Rabbit Run", and "Bad Blood".
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Kevin McKeown and Eric Owen have been friends since their kindergarten days in Toronto. The two began their musical collaboration in high school playing in various bands and covering popular alternative groups like Weezer. After relocating to Austin, TX in 2010, the duo adopted the name Black Pistol Fire and switched their focus to hard rocking blues and R&B. They released a self-titled debut album in 2011 and picked up steam the following year with their sophomore LP Big Beat '59, and in 2013 they blew fans away at SXSW with a performance that led Huffington Post to label the group the "next big thing" in their festival wrap-up. After thrilling fans with the release of their third album Hush and Howl in 2014, they reached an even wider audience by touring with Wolfmother. Black Pistol Fire continue to deliver the same high-energy sound in both their rocking live shows and gripping records – including 2016's Don't Wake the Riot.

Second time I've seen them, absolutely loved this show
Decent show. Great musicians. Wish they played a few more songs, played 1.5 hrs. Left feeling slightly dissatisfied.
Black Pistol Fire was absolutely amazing. I have seen many many shows in my life and these 2 guys are simply amazing! If you ever get a chance to see them, do it!!!
I was centre stage on the second level balcony/bar at the commodore (Vancouver)-excellent venue. The sound quality was top-notch, very loud and very clear I wanna repeat that very loud and very clear (I could feel it) the whole show was awesome! - in the true sense of the word. The lighting & sound was amazing the band was/is fantastic, their energy, enthusiasm and skill is amazing. I know almost all of Black Pistol Fires’ music. They played all of their best tracks one right after the other non-stop their song choice, in order, seemed perfect. Good job by everyone, just wish it was longer I would go again in a heartbeat. Cheers Lance.
BPF was incredible - it’s my 2nd time seeing them and it’s always a shock that it’s only 2 guys filling the room with the most amazing sound! Loved it.
They absolutely rocked the commodore and all those in it 😎 outdoing their previous show there with mind blowing energy! The lead guitarist jumped into the crowd and continued to play flawlessly upside down once back on stage. A must see rock band in my opinion as the live show is where they shine 🤯🤩
Great venue, fun crowd and amazing music. Big fan of the band and any show at the Commodore.
An amazing memorible experience thank you Black Pistol Fire you guys rock!!!! Also The Opera House in Toronto never lets you down great venue I hope it stays open forever.
These guys are the real deal. Their show is the best live performance in music right now with the face melting rock meets soul thumping blues. Check these guys out if you haven't yet and you'll be an instant fan.
I Shazamed these guys on a movie soundtrack in 2017 and haven’t looked back!! Great show, fantastic 2 man band highly underrated duo!! Can’t understand why their not more popular and when was the last time you saw a lead singer/guitarist crowd surf mid solo!! Truly a band to add to the bucket list Rock on long and hard brothers
Beyond exceptional show. These guys were non-stop energy topped with skill beyond belief and a unique sound like no other. You have to see to believe.
Amazing show as they have been when i have seen them before. They truly rock out and give 100% energy into the performance.
The guys put on an amazing show 10/10 would recommend to anyone who loves good rock music and wants to have a good time!
Fantastic performance definitely will look to see them perform again.
Title says it all. I saw Black Pistol Fire for the first time when they opened for The Glorious Sons in Toronto just before the lockdowns and they absolutely blew me away. In London they did it again tenfold. I’ve never in my life seen a band with higher energy or stronger musicianship and I will go out of my way to catch their shows whenever I can just so I can hear the songs I already listen to on repeat with face-melting guitar solos thrown into the mix

Loved the energy of their performance, super talented duo. Wasn’t a huge fan of the crowd/fanbase, aggressive and disrespectful crowd.
This is definitely in my top 5! Great band in a great venue. The sound was awesome, the crowd was into it and BPF has amazing energy. I loved every minute. The slam dancing was a little much but no suggestions on how to deal with that one.
Absolutely killer. 100% would recommend. These guys rock! And the drummer looks like a jacked Blake from Workaholics.
