Blippi The Musical on Stage
Blippi The Musical is a two-act comedy about a boy named Blippi who loves to play in the world while taking his viewers along for the ride. He inspires kids to explore their environment with curiosity and creativity, teaching them about responsibility through song and play. Stevin John is the original creative force behind Blippi, whose energetic, childlike persona is portrayed in thickly framed glasses, a blue button-down shirt, bright orange suspenders, bow tie, and cap to match. John wrote, acted, filmed, edited, produced and shared Blippi's first episodes on YouTube in 2014. The videos quickly became an obsession among kids between the ages of 2 and 6 years old, and the parents who discover Blippi in search of wholesome kids' content on the internet also appreciate John's safe material. The show's popularity amassed billions of view counts as Blippi catapulted into the limelight. John would eventually sign a master toy deal with Jazwares LLC and sell his edu-tainment program to Moonbug Entertainment, who partnered with Virgin Media to distribute the show in the United Kingdom. It's now dubbed in Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, German, Arabic, and Hebrew, and the spin-off show, "Blippi's Treehouse," began airing on Amazon Kids+ in 2021. This all-ages extravaganza produced by Round Room Live will feature a dynamic stage actor cast to perform Blippi The Musical on tour, thrilling live audiences nationwide.
15 seconds in, my 3yr old knew the characters were imposters. Kids aren't dumb! Nowhere on the ads did it say anything about fill in characters. Everything said Blippi and Meekah. I opted out of the meeting with them for pictures and Im glad to have missed it. 50 buck to take pictures with strangers. I wont be attending the next one. Thanks
Expecting to see real blippi but, this is someone else, spent a lot of money just to see fake blippi. Better to watch it on tv. My kids were very disappointed.
It was the lamest event we’ve ever attended. I fully get that it is a kids event. But Paw Patrol Live was 100 times better than Blippi. It was all just Blippi songs, there was no interaction like the Blippi show where kids learn about different things. It was just song after song after song.
Would never have paid that much if i knew it wasnt going to be the actual Blippi or Mekah. Just some random fill in's.
Great show really well done my child really loved it! Definitely will go again in the future we love blippi and meekah!
We sat on row 4 but my kid couldn’t watch properly. A real bilipi didn’t attend
My kids loved the show. Blippi & Meekah were great. Lots of songs included and 1 intermission. Had the kids out of their seats dancing it was very cute. I definitely recommend if you have a blippi fan in the house. One of my kids who doesn't really watch blippi at home enjoyed the show!
The event was well organized. Kids had fun! But bit disappointed that it wasnt the real blippi and Meekah from the tv! But the actors were great with their performance and the huge props was awesome!
Excellent show for the little ones. Highly recommend.
That was boring for all ages just sing and dance and not something interesting
We really enjoyed this show. Very good performers, music and chorography. I did not feel a 30 min intermission was necessary. It distracted the young children and really wasn't necessary. I appreciated the fair prices for the concession items.
Great show for littles... But... if your children is sensitive for sound, invest in a pair of noise cancelling head muffs. I held my daughter's ears for the whole concert. Other than that, if your child is a fan of Blippi and Meekah, this is for them. Caution: Kids will be able to tell that they aren't the same Blippi and Meekah actors from Youtube/Netflix. But we just explained it off as their brother and sister!
It was good but disappointed somehow because it was not the real blippi.
My son has been a Blippi fan for his whole life (5 years haha) and he had an absolute blast. The songs are prerecorded with the original actors but the actors on stage are different which I think was a good trick. The kids didn’t even notice because it sounded right. Fun for everyone and a core memory. I knocked off one star because even infants in arms needed a ticket which is absurd. I had to stay home with my infants for that reason. I’m not paying full price for a baby who’ll sleep in my arms the whole time.
Concert was fun, kids enjoyed it. Buy sound could have been better. We could barely make out what the actors were saying. When they sang it was better but when they talked it was hard to hear them clearly.
The show was a solid OK. Lots of singing and dancing on stage. The performers attempted to engage the kids but it seemed more like acting than genuine eye contact or engagement. The main actor was not the original Blippi actor, which was disappointing to my kids as that’s what they were expecting. If you want pictures after the show, you have to pay extra.
Overstimulating nightmare. Avoid at all costs. Unrelenting flashing lights, bright screens and loud music.
It was very loud for my little one. If you charge that much at least have the real blippi and characters come. My kid could tell right away its not the real blippi
My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed the show and the performers were awesome. It was worth it.
The performance was great. Did not disappoint. My 3.5 year old was mesmerized for the entire 1 hour show. Great songs, perfect length of intermission. My only criticism is with the confusing “photo experience” add-on. I was aware that in order for the photo, everyone in the party needed to have a ticket, however, I was under the impression I purchased one for everyone in our group of 4 and learned upon picking up the pass that only one had indeed been purchased. A bit frustrating - and it appears that many other parents were also confused - we were all standing outside of customer service (in a line) after the show trying to figure out what was going on and how many tix we had indeed purchased. This aspect was disorganized and a a bit disappointing, but it didn’t take away from the grandeur of the show. Recommend!
