    Bright Eyes

by Anonymous on 2011-05-25The Odeon Events Centre - Saskatoon

An excellent show! Bright Eyes played a great variety of new and old, and sounded really great. Conor Oberst was brilliant as always and it was a real pleasure to see Bright Eyes in concert again! I must also mention the opening band, Volcanoless in Canada played a suberb, high energy set. They were great and everyone should check them out!

    Worth the wait!

by ClaireLeanne on 2011-05-25The Odeon Events Centre - Saskatoon

I have been a fan for about 8 years, we arrived 2 hours before the doors opened, waited in line, waited at the very front of the stage as soon as we got in for another hour or so and then waited out the back to meet the band for another 2 hours after the show! Bright Eyes have such an awesome sound.

Bloody Brilliant. Everything you could hope from a Bright Eyes show with a great crowd to match.

Bright Eyes was the first day of my life!

by jumpingjupiter on 2011-04-02Sound Academy - Toronto

It was amazing, one of or possibly the best night of my life! I love this band, and I love Conor. The music and lyrics are genius, and this show was beyond my expectations! Conor was so good with the crowd, and everything about it was just amazing. If you like bright eyes, you'll love them live. My favourite moment was at the very end of the show, while playing their last song "one for you, one for me", and Conor Oberst reached down into the crowd and held my hand! I don't know why people have a fascination for being touched by their bands or people that are famous. But, it was so cool...

    Not great

by PalmTrees on 2011-03-15Sound Academy - Toronto

Tickets said that the show started at 7:30. We lined up outside for almost an hour before getting in, stood inside until 9:30 waiting for the opening band. Bright Eyes didn't make it to the stage until 10:15. By that time it was difficult to enjoy much. The show seemed to focus more on the lights and props than the music. Not the Bright Eyes sound I remember.

    Great as always

    by fever100 on 2011-03-15Sound Academy - Toronto

This was a great generous show with amazing interesting setlist. Wis I could go again. One issue though is the Sound Academy with its aggressive security practices and lousy sightlines and location. Hopefully Bright Eyes will not play here again if they return to town.

Bright Eyes go above and beyond

    by dubs8824 on 2011-03-15Sound Academy - Toronto

The show was excellent, but what I think is most mentionable was the length and variety of their set. The played new stuff, but also selections from their entire collection. I did not watch the time, but the show lasted a long while and the energy and feeling never faultered. I would see them again and again if they'd keep coming back to S.Ont.

    Blew my mind!

by Ryczkoj on 2011-03-11Radio City Music Hall - New York

I've seen bright eyes more than a dozen times, his performance in NYC didn't disappoint, the energy in the venue was palpable!!! He played a long set, old and new, over a perfect mix of his entire catalogue, any bright eyes fan would have appreciated the set list, over visually stunning as well, he really put on a show!!! Love him, his sincerity to his fans and his love for making a the world a better place!!! This show blew my mind, I did not want it to end! If it is his farewell tour, he finished with a bang!! I feel slightly meloncally, he is a music genius, from country to electronica to cosmic folklore, he is one of a kind!
