Andrew Bird Tickets

I think a big chunk of this crowd was here for Amadou and Miriam, probably better known to the francophone public, and they were great! Warm and approachable with a pretty long set for an opening act, 45 minutes or so. But I'm sure even their fans were not disappointed by Andrew Bird's set of violin and smooth vocals, sometimes crooner, sometimes rythmic, with most of his hits (but not all! I was just a bit disappointed that Three White Horses was left out). He's quite a performer, with a voice on stage that equals his recordings! No compromises on the harder to hit notes or the vocal endurance. A week later and I've still got his whistling Sisyphus as my earworm!

It was not my first Bird’s concert but didn’t felt the same enthusiasm many years ago, kind of perfunctory and influenced a lot by the commercial goal of ticket-sales, etc. In the future, hope to stop binding together opposite musical opening acts, Amadou&Mariam(Good musicians but different energy). It only added more audience population of two different groups inside of a SAME concert venue. Oxygen in scarcity, needed more space and artistically concentrations!

My whole family enjoyed his musical mastery and quirkiness. Excellent opening act in Amadou & Mariam. Only concern was sufficiency of airflow at the venue.

From the first note, a pleasure for the ears, there is a lot of talent in the world, but the package we heard listening to Andrew bird and his bass player and drummer. Well what a joy, so refreshing.

Always a spectacularly euphoric experience watching and hearing Andrew Bird and others play fantastical music.

We saw Andrew Bird at History last week. The venue is very good with one small issue. Our seats were on the mezzanine in box 204. The washrooms were right behind our seats. If Andrew was doing a quiet song, it was hard to hear because of the hand dryer noise from the bathrooms. As we all know, today's hand dryers blow air at Mach 2 in a room with nothing but hard walls. Like I said not a huge issue but one they owners of History should consider fixing.

It was my first time at History, and oh babyyy!! this is my new favourite venue. The layout was great! Can fit a big crowd, but still felt really intimate, and the sound was fantastic! That mixed with one of the best musicians of our time made for one epic evening!! Andrew Bird, and his two fellow musicians made music that sounded like it was coming from a huge orchestra. Every song was a banger! and Madison Cunningham joined in for a few tunes which made the night even better! She was something to behold, unbelievable tone with such great playing style. Lastly, Ted Poor was an amazing surprise. He opened the show just with a drum kit, and the whole crowd was mesmerized. I have never seen anything like that, and may never see it again. It was an amazing show!!

This was an amazing concert! History is a great venue, so spacious and clean. I came for Madison and enjoyed Andrew Bird and the first opener too. Sound quality was great and drinks weren't too pricey.

Andrew Bird is amazing live. He's so good, he'd sound perfect in a school gymnasium, and his band this time around was tight! Close your eyes and listen hard though, because the Toronto venue though left much to be desired. We're well past our standing for four hours through a concert phase, so were in the mezzanine at History, and though it's been updated, it's essentially a glorified betting lounge. They have monitors just above eye level that blasted out ridiculous ads for Clorox and gambling sites all through the opening acts (rude). The open bathrooms meant every 2 seconds you heard someone drying their hands - it was LOUD. And there was a lot of chatter because, lounge, I guess. We were able to enjoy the show despite these distractions, but would've enjoyed it much better at one of the other, far better venues in Toronto like the Danforth or, here's hoping one day, Massey Hall. Also, there's a massive pillar at eye line that wasn't flagged when we bought the tickets; we were informed of the obstructed view when we received the etickets several months after purchase. This was our first time at History, and unless there's an act that we absolutely must see and this is the only facility they're playing, we won't be visiting again.

It was my first time seeing a concert at the Danforth Music Hall and my first time seeing Andrew Bird. Both the concert and venue were amazing. Andrew Bird is a true artist and musician...11/10
