Cavalry FC Tickets

Ok the place stadium what ever you want to call it is beautiful, looks super kid friendly lots going on cannot fault it. Staff I don’t know if there volunteers or how it works but clueless. We were in the battlefield section, we asked maybe 5 people with lanyards on where to go nobody had a clue we wondered around and around to then get there and the battlefield was silent. I would have thought battlefield would have had some noise but maybe it is referring to the aftermath of a battlefield. Then the biggest crime of all $13 for a beer a can of beer $13 insane never seen that before. Overall it’s a fun day out supporting a local sporting team just really unorganized with expensive products.

Loved the game, it was well organized and a great event for all ages!

We have attended matches since Cavalry’s inception and had season’s tickets previously. This weekend we attended early to enjoy the festivities on offer. We sat in a lineup to park for about 30 min BUT when we went to pay the parking attendant, a member of our group wanted to pay and went to pass a $20 bill to the attendant. The attendant refused the cash saying to please pay by card as his pockets were too full for the $20 bill. We were appalled at the attendant’s comment and had to pay by debit card to get in. Once in, the festivities and service was great EXCEPT for the ice cream lineups. Lines were too long, people were cutting in as lineup and method of movement was not explained. There is a need to anticipate level of busy-ness and plan for it. If the lineups can’t be managed in a reasonable time, add a second concession to sort the traffic and lengthy lineups. The match itself was average with the same issues plaguing the team as last season (poor midfield play/ball movement).

The lines to get a drink were confusing. When we got to the front of the line all the drink they advertised for they didn't have. Someone was sitting in our seats. At half time we went for a walk and when we came back someone else was in our seats. The game was excellent.

Love the unique atmosphere soccer brings to Calgary! I am a loyal fan now!

Nil nil until the 90 minute the stands were electrifying when ben fisk made every one go home with smiles and a great memory

A friend and I attended our first Cavalry game. We are both soccer fans and watch a lot of Premier League and other matches. We left this match at half time. Not because we didn't have good seats and a good view, but because the noise around us was deafening. Because the stands are metal, people, especially kids, stamp on the floor to make a noise. The noise is just awful. it's not what we expected: clapping and cheering is fine. This was just thumping on the stands so that you can't hear a thing. For us it just destroyed watching the game. We simply did not want to stay, and are not going back. Maybe it's our age. Even so, you need to know that there's a market segment out there that you are not able to appeal to. And I'm sorry that this is the case: our granddaughters are soccer players and I was going to take them to a game. Not now.

The grounds were awesome, food was as expected for a soccer game, but really the aluminum stands that were absolutely pounded by every kid anytime there was any interesting action was terrible. Anybody who doesn’t like raucous noise should stay away!

The game was riddled with pretend falls and pretend injuries. Not good for kids to see such poor sportsmanship. Soccer skills were shocking-poor passing, not many shots on target. Vast difference between Canadian Premier League and the English premier league. Very disappointing.

I always love going to Cavalry FC games and have previously left glowing reviews on this site. This last game was unfortunately a different experience. The game was interrupted for a considerable time by lightning and storms in the area. When the weather approached, my wife and I felt uncomfortable staying in the stadium, huddled in the few covered areas with the crowds especially with the threat of lightning. I would have gladly waited out the weather in my car but the venue has a strict no re-entry policy, so we felt we had to leave and miss the game. Due to this policy, I will not purchase tickets to games where there is a threat of weather disruption, which is too bad because I am a fan and frequent attendor...

I understand the idea of not bringing food or drinks into the game but the idea that I have to dump out my cold water and then fill it with the warm water on the other side, is absurd. If you have kids or you yourself are with any dietary needs, there’s nothing there for you. It would also be amazing if there was a little shuttle from the handicapped parking down to the field and back - if you’re mobility challenged, again, there’s nothing here for you. We want to get seasons tickets but accessing the field and stands safely, is often too difficult for us.

Great on field product. I enjoyed having a roof cover the seats; however, putting giant posts to hold up in the middle of the field of view is a serious detriment. While a rebuild of the structure is likely out of scope, a better job outlining which seats have an obstructed view should be undertaken by Ticketmaster.

We liked the convenience of the free shuttle from the Somerset Bridlewood location. Spruce meadows is beautiful venue to watch soccer. There are places to wander around and places to get food and drinks, although the ice cream lineup was long on our warm evening. There are clean, indoor bathrooms and plenty of them. Most importantly the soccer was fun to watch and exciting with Calvery scoring with 30 seconds left in regulation to win. A wonderful evening.

Great night out watching Cavalry FC beat their rival Forge FC! Spruce Meadows ATCO field is a fantastic venue, full of energy and excitement. The supporters group deserve a mention as they create a memorable atmosphere through drums, songs, chants and good natured jibes at the opponent. The team is hard working, well coached with a great mix of veterans and youngsters. Ticket prices are reasonable and concessions are decent. A truly fun night, I will be back!

No matter where you are sitting on the roof area, even if your seats don't indicate "obstructed view", the support beams for the roof are VERY annoying as sometimes you can miss part of the action because they are always in the way at some point. This is an issue because by paying the premium priced tickets to have a roof, it means you're also blocking the view by doing so. And this is coming from a dead center location in the 105 section aligned with the halfway line. Seems to me that sitting behind the nets is a better option. Other than that, the ambience is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Love that there is awesome live pro soccer here in Calgary (and all CPL cities). Great atmosphere, easy to access, great concessions, everything is reasonably priced - a fantastic fan experience.

This is the second game this year we have been to. The atmosphere is great and the fans really get involved. The pitch was in fantastic condition and the team played very well.
