Cetic Woman leaves you touched to the core

by Mehefin on 2010-05-16General Motors Place - Vancouver

Celtic Woman touches you in a place that you forget is there inside you, and leaves you better for being reminded of this emotion inside. I felt speechless by their harmony, inspired by their grace and wowed by their style. Thank you for the most enjoyable evening.

    Money well spent!

by Liss80 on 2010-05-16General Motors Place - Vancouver

These women are truly talented. Their voices, while all unique are equally beautiful and mesmerizing. They sound like angels. The band was phenomenal and that little fiddler - WOW can she make that thing sing! I will DEFINITELY be seeing them again when they come to town. Best concert I've ever been to, hands down!

It was a very good concert. They have such powerful voices. I am Irish so it was great to see them in concert. Amazing. Would see them again and again if I could. Prices were good too.

    Little Emotion/Too Canned

by PKKID on 2010-05-16General Motors Place - Vancouver

This production was too canned and didn't engage the audience until the last 1-2 songs. Irish music is known for its lively and audience particiation. This was a series of nice songs by voices that sounded pretty similar and very little audience participation. The performers really did not connect with the audience although the audience was sitting there waiting to get turned on, which they did when there was the slightest invitation, but the show was over 5 minutes later. No real leader emerged from the group to take control of the performance which suggests to me is was all managed backstage and no one was in charge on the stage to get the audience engaged. A really disappointing performance and I would not recommend them to anyone.

    Celtic Woman - Venue Sucks!

by John5000000 on 2010-05-16General Motors Place - Vancouver

It's very unfortunate this performance was at GM Place; the performers were fantastic, but the venue sucks! I will never go to such a performance at GM place again, I would however pay double to see Celtic Woman at the Orpheum or QE Theatre.

Amazing and unforgettable!!!! So well done.

by Irishtwo on 2010-05-16General Motors Place - Vancouver

I have waited to see them for so long and their show was spectacular! The only thing I would have to ask is why I wasn't offered floor seats when I reserved last November and I heard they just put them on sale recently. The seats we had were okay but I would have preferred to look straight at them. I just had a recent hip replacement and it was straining me to see them sideways. Being a born Irish woman myself - I love their music and they have voices' like angels' I would love to see them again.

    Celtic Woman was awesome!

by free2b123 on 2010-05-16General Motors Place - Vancouver

The 'house' really rocked when 'Celtic Woman' performed. All of the performers (including the backup instrumentalists) sang and played their hearts out. And that fiddler? I am at a loss for words -- WOW!!

    Celtic Woman Amazing, Grace

by wickeyfromabby on 2010-05-16General Motors Place - Vancouver

Fabulous voices lent to fabulous songs with minimalist music. The violin and bagpipes were worth the price of admission and then you add the voices.

Celtic Woman - an incredible success!

by CanadianVisitor on 2010-04-08Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

This was an excellent show! We especially liked how everyone was featured at some point and acknowledged. The girls (solists) are all very polished musicians and they really seem to enjoy what they are doing. The fiddler was amazing.

    Celtic woman

by Dimac on 2010-02-24Warner Theatre - Erie

What a fabulous performance, hard to believe one song could be better than the previous. These girls have a gruelling schedule, yet manage to make each performance feel like it is the only one they are doing, fabulously professional show. Can't wait for the next time we are able to see them live, our CD & DVD's will have to suffice! EXCELLENT!!!! We travelled 2 hrs from Canada to see this concert and were thrilled we did

Celtic Woman is not exactly what you see on PBS

by Notthrilled on 2010-02-17Fox Theatre Atlanta - Atlanta

The singing was lovely but the SET was so boring and the costumes looked so tired and dull. They could do so much more with costumes alone. So many of us expect to see the castle like setting you see on PBS. If dragging around a set is too expensive, they could do so much with a video screen (scenes of Ireland, etc). And screens to show close ups of the ladies faces would be helpful too.. I had so looked forward to it. I'd never go again and I would not suggest someone spend the money on tickets
