Chevelle in Concert
Chevelle is the understated musical powerhouse who have continually delivered rock anthems for the past 24 years. 7 number one hits, 17 songs reaching the top 10 charts, over 4 million records sold in the USA and many more world wide. Platinum and gold albums across their 8 studio records and successful live CD and two live DVD releases completes their extensive body of work to date. It's all credit to their continuing dedication to be true to their craft, the genre and their fans. Chevelle's last two album releases, La Gargola and The North Corridor, both debuted #1 on the Billboard rock charts at #3 and #8, respectively, on the Billboard top 200 charts. With no signs of this Chicago alternative rock trio slowing down any time soon, their numerous chart topping releases have certainly earned this band a place in American rock music history.
After more than two decades together, numerous releases, and countless world wide tours, the outfit consisting of brothers Pete Loeffler [guitars, vocals], Sam Loeffler [drums], and brother in-law Dean Bernardini [bass, vocals] have confidently sailed through decades of uncharted waters and have emerged with a collection that's equally intricate and intimate.
Certainly it builds upon the group's impressive foundation, including the 2002 platinum-selling genre staple Wonder What's Next and the 2004 gold-selling follow-up This Type of Thinking Could Do Us In which debuted #8 on the Billboard Top 200. The releases that followed held their own against the ever-changing faces of popular music for the time. 2007's Vena Sera reached #2 for rock album on the Billboard charts. 2009's release Sci-Fi Crimes reached #6 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on the alternative charts. 2011's Hats Off to The Bull reached #5 on the Billboard Top 200, 2014's La Gargola debuted #3 on the Billboard Top 200. Most recently, 2016's The North Corridor album debuted #8 and soon reached #2 on the Billboard Top 200. La Gargola and The North Corridor both debuted #1 on the Billboard rock charts with The North Corridor vinyl release reaching #7 on the Billboard top 25 Vinyl charts. Chevelle released a B-sides and rarities collection titled 12 Bloody Spies in October 2018 while they wrote and recorded their much anticipated 9th studio album. This next album release, set for 2020 will be sure to add another chapter to the extensive catalog of this successful music career.
"You don't want to repeat yourself," affirms Sam. "We want to seize something different with each song. Every record has to take on its own identity. As an artist, you have to progress and evolve." As they continue to master their craft, Chevelle take on the critics and prove time and time again that they a force to be reckoned with.

1st time at this venue. It was loud. And for me the Vocals were drowned out by Instruments... Especially Chevelle, but also Asking Alexandria. I will be seeing Headstones, finger eleven and Tea party in Dec. Because I know those bands so well, if the sound is off, I will put it on n the venue. Stay tuned.
I thought Chevelle’s performance/show was awesome and the venue was great - great sight lines and sound. I would see another show at this venue.
My favorite band and the most special concert ever. Thanks ,!!!!!!!
My first time at this 5000 seat venue, which has only been open since May 2024. Still has that "new concrete"smell. We had center view seats just behind the floors, about 15 rows up. Seats are comfy and there's more space between them, and also more room behind the row ahead than in other venues I've been too. All washrooms are one level above, i.e. the balcony level, which is a bit annoying. But parking is free and there's lots of it, and it's easy to get in and out of the lots. Convenient location just off the 427 freeway, but you'll need a car to get there, as public transportation is pretty much non-existent. Concert itself was great. I've been waiting a long time, at least 10 years, to see Chevelle in concert as they rarely come to Canada. Great guitar rock sound and a better light sh0w than I was expecting. Sound was clear and appropriately loud. Opening acts Asking Alexandria and Dead Poet Society were good too, above average I'd say. Would see all of them again so I hope they don't wait another 10 years to return !
If you love chevelle like my husband and I do they are a must see live! Even though it was a trough the week concert for us the drive to Toronto was worth missing some sleep the next day. Sad they took off 'get some' from the set list but every song sounded amazing. No regrets... what a great night out and one of our favorite bands off our bucket list. Also the venue was excellent.
Chevelle killed it. Great mix of old and new songs, when you're 10 albums deep there is so much to choice from, you almost wish they played back to back no repeat songs shows just like Metallica. These boys really fill the place with sound and visuals. If you've never seen them, get out there and support them. You won't be disappointed!
Fantastic show, great venue. I’ll be looking at future concerts at the venue and well as Chevelle.
One of the most underrated, ass-kicking rock bands of my lifetime, I’m 50 so that should say a lot. Their entire catalog is superior to none. These tapped into something special and I’ll see them every chance I get. Pick your venues wisely fellas. Great Canadian Resort was the worst venue for sound I’ve ever been to. They did you dirty.
The concert was so mind numbingly awesome that I literally jazzed in my pants. It was a complete mess, as the title states. The only bad thing about the night was the 25 dollar cleaning fee for the taxi, cause I didn't think to bring a change of pants, not knowing it was going to be as amazing of a concert as it was. 11/10, definitely need to bring a change of drawers next time I see them
