We saw Chicago last night @ Caesars in Windsor. They were fantastic. They played and sang their hits, they were full of energy and talent and it was a great concert!! We saw Chicago in New Jersey last summer too and want to see them again. Please come to Toronto sometime - full house for sure.
Attended the show at Caesars Windsor last evening. From the first note to the last, they put on an excellent show. Kudos to the man (sorry I didn't catch the name) who won the bid to perform If You Leave Me Now, with proceeds of his bid going to the American Cancer Society. I thought he did a great job on the song, with no rehearsal as they indicated. The addition of Lou Pardini on keyboards was a very wise decision on the band's part. His vocal abilities are fantastic, giving Jason a break on a few of the songs. Love the addition of the mic headsets - gives everyone much more freedom to roam the stage, allowing for more interaction between the band members and the fans. All in all a great show, and am looking forward to the show with the Doobie Brothers at DTE July 14th.
Loved it!!!!! First time concert-goer at the Colesseum and would recommend it to anyone!!!
I took a friend for her birthday to see Chicago. It was an excellent show although the first two songs they played I found so loud I could not make out any of the lyrics. The only other thing that was annoying was the fact that the show started late because people were coming in 10 minutes after it was supposed to start. Maybe you should close the doors at 9pm and if you are not there, then you don't get in, but get your money back.
It was a special event to see these two great bands together in one evening. I have seen Chicago in concert many times before but this is the first time I saw them together with EW&F. These two bands, who are both from Chicago by the way, really jelled together very well and presented an awesome concert. The show opened with both bands playing together for 3 songs, and the EW&F took the stage for their own portion of the evening. Afterwards, Chicago played an excellent concert which was followed by both bands ending the evening with about 8 songs together. Both bands are in fine form and dedicated themselves to learning each other's material and did this so well! I drove all the way from Toronto to see this show in Chicago and hope that they do make a stop in Toronto on this tour as there are many fans here who would love to see this. It was also great to see this concert in the big arena setting of the Allstate Arena.
