  • Chris deBurgh was the BEST!

by Breo on 2015-10-11Shaw Conference Centre - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

I've been to 3 of Chris DeBurgh concerts and this was by far the best! I couldn't believe it when he came off stage and started wandering through the audience. I was sitting on the risers and he came to within a couple steps of me.

  • Chris DeBurgh Concert in Edmonton

by NotsoOldFart on 2015-10-11Shaw Conference Centre - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

I've waited a long time to see Chris Deburgh in concert and I wasn't disappointed. He put on a wonderful show singing both new and old songs. It was well worth the cost which wasn't all that expensive to start with.

  • Chris de Burgh was awesome

by GFE123 on 2015-10-11Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Chris de Burgh's concerts was fantastic. Can still sing like he did in the 70's. The sound was as good as I have heard at the Jube and he has the energy of a 20 year old. All around a fabulous concert.

  • So much fun!

by Joecalgary on 2015-10-10Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Chris de Burgh was amazing. Said he had a 'long show' planned then played for 3 hours when most concerts are 90 minutes. It was a lot of fun!!

  • WONDERFUL!

I have been a fan for MANY years! Chris did not disappoint. His voice is as strong as ever. It filled the venue with magic. Best was when he left the stage to walk around the audience. My companion received a hug! LOVE YOU CHRIS !! When are you coming back???

he can still belt out the tunes and kept the audience happy . Great to hear the old songs again especially the one song we used for our wedding.

Wow! My husband bought these tickets for an early birthday present which I was completely enthralled about! I almost thought I was going to miss it and was so glad that I didn't! Chris was a wonderful entertainer and he's still got the voice! Lady in Red was my favourite of all time, but he introduced me to more! I believe the audience was absolutely taken by surprise when he ventured out into the audience shaking hands and giving hugs!

  • Great show

    by Carla1 on 2015-10-09Shaw Conference Centre - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Chris was amazing. Although the concert in Edmonton was in a bad location with poor acoustics, he did a very entertaining show. His voice sounded great, songs were very well selected, he interacted with the audience throughout the show and we were privileged to have 3 hours (with a 20 minutes intermission) of great live music. Couldn't have asked for more. Very pleasant and admirable man!

  • great show

by grandmadiane on 2015-10-09Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Chris deBurgh puts on a great show and I enjoyed every minute of it. Played lots of new songs as well as his old favorites. He had the crowd up and dancing (and even one on stage) A solid three hour show but the time went by so fast. It was amazing!

  • Chris de Burgh & band will be forever in my memory

by Rockinforever on 2015-10-08Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

I have been a fan of Chris de Burgh for 40 years! I have many of his albums and CD's. He played many favorites that evening. I was very happy for the seats we had in row 7 as it was not to close and a great up close experience with Chris. I was especially happy to have the opportunity to shake his hand and thank him for all the great years of music and story telling. We had a great time and appreciated the fact that we could take pictures for our memory album!! Thanks Chris and band for a fun and memorable night! Hope to see them again in Winnipeg. The concert hall is a fantastic venue as it is a more intimate and appropriate setting for Chris's music style. Still humming............ :))

  • It was all I'd hoped

by doilydeb on 2015-10-08Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Having been a fan over 30 years and been to more than one Chris DeBurgh concert I knew it would be no less than fantastic. The band are top notch musicians and I'd be surprised if a note was missed. The Storyman was on his game, playing old and new favourites, hitting the high notes with more ease than even he expected it would seem. Although I am in favour of supporting young upcoming talent, I appreciate the format with no opening act and an intermission. I'm getting to an age where I want to see who I paid to see and see them now.

  • Chris de Burgh still entertains!!

by nokids on 2015-10-08Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

The concert here in Winnipeg was fantastic and I enjoyed it tremendously. Chris de Burgh's new album is spectacular and proves he is still one of the greatest musical story tellers of all time! It was very nostalgic hearing the older songs, bringing me back to another time and place. Yes he can still hit those notes and create music that pulls at your emotions - absolutely loved it!

  • Fantastic!!!!!!

by Abbeyroadgirl on 2015-10-08Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

The last time I saw Chris de Burgh in concert was at the old Winnipeg Arena in the late 1980s. Like a fine wine, he has gotten better with age. Still hitting the high notes. A great mix of new songs and old favourites. Wish he would have had a second show as this one is worth seeing twice!!

  • Superb Concert

by OldMusicLover on 2015-10-08Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Really enjoyed the "old" songs but will definitely get the new album after hearing those songs. The sound quality was excellent. The music was not overpowering, therefore you could here the vocals very clearly. Chris still has a great voice and my husband and I enjoyed the 3 hour show.

Music with meaning...unlike the current music trend. The venue made the performance more special in that the interaction between him and the audience was more personable. I felt like he invited us into his home, told us stories and entertained us for nearly 3 hours.

  • So Good!!!!

I just have one word Amazing! I hope he will visit Winnipeg again.
