Spectacular!!
by elvira1959 on 2017-10-17Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5Hubby and I have loved CDB forever, but never had a chance to see him in concert. This was a bucket list "must do". Chris de Burgh and band were amazing. The musicianship and singing were unbelievable. He's/they've still got it after all these years. He is also quite an entertainer and kept the crowd amused in between songs. Of course he saved Patricia the Stripper for his "encore" (we knew they were not finished and would be back). We all gave them several standing ovations. Chris and the band were spectacular.
Magical
by Foxxxylady94 on 2017-10-16Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5Chris's voice is Magical! He sounds amazing. I saw him in the early 1980's & his voice has hardly changed.I loved his new songs & the old songs! Chris is an expert on the 12 string guitar!!! Chris's band is very talented & he has an amazing guitar player! I would recommend seeing Chris De Burgh in concert!
Chris was great, but could have been better.
by Vic17 on 2017-10-15Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5Chris did another great show, with a stunning stage and excellent band, but his setlist was way too close to his 2015 show - should have changed up at least five or six songs. For that reason, the first half, where he played five or so of his new songs, was much better than the second half.
Chris De Burgh Wpg
by gramc on 2017-10-15Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5Chris is amazing. His voice is very powerful and clear. We have attended his concerts most of times he has come to Wpg. He voice has not changed over the years. He is energetic and amazing. Last year we sat in the loge seats but had spotlights were in our eyes for most of concert. This year the lighting was much better.
Fading Glory
by giardino on 2017-10-15Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5A fine musician and showman which I saw first many years ago in his prime. Alas the voice is not what it was, and this is negative for the show.
Chris De Burgh Always a Great show
by LADYHAWKMB on 2017-10-14Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5Chris was wonderful. He played old songs from his past albums, really drew in the audience. He was totally an outstanding performance. The way he interacted with the crowd made it a fantastic evening.
Chris deBurgh was stupendous
by Merlinda on 2017-10-14Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5Chris is and has never been anything less than fantastic and heart warming. His music and songs come from the heart and his purpose of spreading love, light and peace are felt throughout. I have attended concerts since 74 only missing one tour. His warm personality really came out again.
Fantastic
by Cheerleader on 2017-10-14Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5Wasn't sure what to expect having never seen him in concert, but was not disappointed. Played a mix of old and new. His songs tell great stories and the music so enjoyable.A terrific entertainer and he engaged so well with the audience. Would love to see him again in concert. Don't miss him if you have the opportunity.

by Roch264 on 2017-10-14Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5Chris still has the pipes. Best concert I have been to in a long while. He interacts with the audience the whole show.
CDB - always the best show!
by Mckf on 2017-10-14Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5Chris De Burgh always puts on an unforgettable show. He is humble, kind and talented. I have seen him 3 times in concert and would see him another 20! Amazing, always.
Sensational!
by Potatocake on 2017-10-14Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5Just a sensational concert all around. Chris was his usual gracious self with his incredible voice and exceptional artistry in every song. This is my 3rd concert of his tour and the time just zipped by. The acoustics of the Winnipeg Concert Hall were so much better than 'arena' ones although the seating plan doesn't allow for much movement. The band seemed fresh and musically tight - their rapport made me feel good just watching. We brought a music-loving guest who ended up being in absolute awe of this concert even though he had seen CDEB on the 2015 tour. Loved it - thought it was much more contemporary than 2015 and that Chris's voice was the best voice he has ever heard. 'He doesn't look like he is even breathing and he belts it out!'
WOW
by ferryman on 2017-10-14Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5Fan or not, you were not be disappointed by the quality of the performance. He doesn't hit the high notes as easily but that doesn't take away from the energy and presentation. The band is exceptional and musically flawless. Neil Taylor performs brilliantly on the rhythm guitar and is matched in skill by the other band members including Nigel Hopkins on keyboard. A highlight of course was his performance of Lady In Red which he saved until the second act. He walked down among the audience, greeted the fans and took pictures with them as he performed, a true measure of his respect for his fans and their support. Another pleasant surprise was his energetic cover of Toto's Africa which got many of the audience off their sets and dancing. A WOW moment in a wonderful concert experience.
Chris De Burgh was GRRRRReat ! !
by Ruck on 2017-10-14Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5I was totally blown away by how he felt so at ease up there on the stage ( and with the audience ) . His political statements were right on , and , oh so true .

Wonderful show!
by Zaplady on 2017-10-14Centennial Concert Hall - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5The show was great! Lots of his old songs with some new ones thrown into the mix. The venue was wonderful. Acoustics great. Truly enjoyed the light displays. The show started right on time with no opening act and he sang for 2 hours with an intermission. Chris interacted with the audience and the crowd truly enjoyed it. When he sang Lady in Red, it brought back a rush of memories and transported me back in time to another place in my life. Truly fantastic show.
