Incredible musicians! Great venue and a beautiful summer night.
Isn't it wonderful when it all comes together and a perfect night. The stage and sound were wonderful. Top down in my old '65, others in pickup beds, out in their chairs, I think everyone had a great time. Didn't open my custom sound system not only for broadcast sync concerns or muddying up the atmosphere for fellow attendees, but mostly because the stage already sounded so AMAZING! After the show I actually asked "WHO did the sound? " Believe his name is Ryan. I never knew a parking lot could sound so good! Well done Ryan! The full event was perfect. I've seen at least a dozen CALs so had higher expectations. Sorry but while the singer's efforts were appreciated, I don't think he did Robert Plant's vocals much justice. Then again, few can. The other musicians were very good, but I would have enjoyed seeing them "perform", not just "play" especially in the second half when note-for-note discipline wasn't as needed and they were more free to share their style and enjoyment of the music with the audience. More interaction, more personal flavour would had added immensely to the perofrmance. As for the organization, getting into and out of the venue was safe, easy and well managed. It was a treat to enjoy Toronto's beautiful skyline just off stage right and a half but clear moon over stage left. The drones buzzing around were not a distraction, actually would have been cool to include concert-goers onscreen since so many were really getting into it. This is what we miss most - coming together for a perfect night!
Really, nothing as good as live music. I can't help but jumping out of my car. Sound a little bit distorted but understandable. I've been in many CAL concerts and always amazes me guitar players specially when they do Comfortably Numb.... so awesome
Great night! Performers were on their game and very talented. Thoroughly enjoyed the performance.
Excellent show! Great recreation of one of the best albums. Right down to the fugle horn on Penny Lane. Kevin Bath amazing Vocalist & great guitarist/ musician. Close your eyes......the Beatles !!! Thanks I’ll be back for more.
this Led Zeppelin show was the best I have ever seen. they should play at the Bell mts centre. they should do more shows with all of their albums throughout the year and make a package deal price just like season tickets for sports events. they could have all different local bands play before all shows to give them exposure. I would definitely by the tickets.
Great show at the perfect venue...these musicians were simply the best..you have to be..you can't fool die hard fans who know evey lick,beat,vocals....to recreate live, what a studio recording sounded like, they were amazing, very well done......i did not give 5 stars because they could have chosen a few better Zepplin tunes to close their show....the 5 Stars goes to the Sound and Lighting engineers who made this experience SO SO GOOD.....ROCK ON.......
These guys were note for note perfect. Reminded me just how good Zeppelin really was.
Very good. Very capable musicians playing a classic Led Zepplin album. Liked the unpretentious way they presented the material. Would definitely go to another one of these shows.
Massey hall is an amazing venue, the performance was great, and just imagining being at a Marley's concert, priceless...
We have been attending CAL for at least 5 years...season ticket holders. The Legends concert was one of the best !!!....and my wife said, " it was the best ever " !!
Having just bought the Legend vinyl record a couple of months ago, I was pleasantly surprised to see the Legend concert listing for Massey Hall April 20th. My wife loves that album so I got 2 tickets from Ticketmaster. Not knowing what to expect, this being the first Classic Albums Live show featuring a Bob Marley album (I believe), we sat in our seats, Left balcony, 4th row just above the stage and waited with anticipation. When the band was introduced, I was amazed at the number of musicians and singers in the band. And as soon as that first note of "Is this Love" began, we knew they were very good. And when the lead singer started singing, it felt like we were hearing Bob himself. The musicians and the back up singers were excellent too, especially the lead guitarist! They all genuinely looked like they were having as much fun as the audience! People rushed the front of the stage later in the show and were dancing in the aisles.
Such fantastic musicians!! Every CAL show I've been to is top notch!!
This was the best show I have seen. They weee amazing
Great show. Not expensive either for the tickets either.
Great show and great sound!! Definited reccommend.
Was a little concerned as tickets were a Christmas present from my wife. Was fantastic thanked her over and over. Will definitely watch for the next tour. Amazing!
These musicians know their stuff. Gilmore and Waters would be proud
It was my first classic albums live and loved it!!
