WOW, what an experience! Top notch performance, the performers were so into this gig and it filtered into every person in the crowd. An amazing theater to see this type of performance. I will be back!

  • Great Performance

    by EJFan33 on 2017-05-02Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The vocals from Murray James Bosch were fantastic. The dozen or so backing musicians were incredible. They took great care to get the sound and instrumentation just like the original songs. After the Greatest Hits were performed there was a selection of some of Elton's other songs. They selected at least three lesser known songs--which is great if you're an Elton fan.

  • Singing was amazing!

    by Jessica101793 on 2017-05-01Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Although the singer didn't sound identical to elton John he sounded very similar. Lots of great songs were performed and the crowd was very happy. Very talented group of performers!

This was an excellent show and would love to see them again, or any of their other productions, if they come back this way.

by Poshy on 2016-11-21Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

If I closed my eyes,I could've sworn it was Fleetwood Mac. The band played note for note & was fantastic. Each singer was so talented. Great venue. Love the intimacy of Massey Hall. Great evening.

  • CAL does it again

by salta on 2016-11-21Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

It never ceases to amaze me how these shows come together with such an incredibly talented group of musicians. The group did a fantastic job and provided a great night of entertainment. I've attended almost twenty different CAL shows and have probably told three hundred people to go!

  • Bowie classic albums live was mind blowing

by Aires on 2016-05-31Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I came to this concert,at Massey Hall expecting flawless renditions of the artists tunes.I was'nt wrong, the 10 piece band rocked out Ziggy Stardust with passion and incredible talent. Each artist played their hearts out.Highlites of the evening was the incredible vocals, crazy good sax, lead guitars that gave me shivers, the girl that handled the aucustic guitar, then brought down the house with a 5 minute blistering electric solo WOW! God Bless Bowie. The band did him proud.

  • Davie Bowie was in the House!

    by Strawberry4191 on 2016-05-31Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Nothing short of awesome. The first set was the album which was truly incredible. Then they took a break and came back on and played so many of his hits. There was lots of Bowie love in the House. Don't miss this show if it is playing near you.

  • Animals - Outstanding!

by Samnjaz on 2016-04-18Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I've 'done' at least 75 concerts in my time, including Floyd at Ivor Wynn Stadium in Hamilton back in 1975. It was the final show of their North American Wish You Were Here tour, they started the first set with "Sheep" and "Dogs" -- neither song hadn't even been released until 2 years later. That was the last time I heard Pink Floyd live.....until April 15 at Massey Hall!! Note for note, tone for tone, breathe by breathe - completely perfect! The full album followed by an intermission and then a dozen winners to fill out the second set. This band completely blew the doors off in every possible way, and they seemed to do it so effortlessly...The vocals, harmonies, and even the sound of catching breath between the lyrics were so surprisingly dead-on that if you closed your eyes (which I did several times), you'd swear you were listening to the studio album master. Despite the wonder of it all, the highlight for me, and I'm sure many others, was the Great Gig in the Sky. It was performed flawlessly, note for note; the singer was positively pitch-perfect and I was so emotionally drained and flowing in tears by the end of the song -- it was a privilege to be so touched and moved by this women's exquisite voice -- truly a god-given gift!

  • The Beatle music was fun!

by sueandcynthia on 2016-02-22Roy Thomson Hall - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The band was very talented and sounded a lot like the Beatles. The music choices were excellent and showcased the talents of the musicians.

  • Classic Albums Live: The Beatles, Help!

    by Ryan55 on 2016-02-22Roy Thomson Hall - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Overall, the music/performance was excellent. Only reason for only 4 stars was the lack of audience interaction. This may be part of their thing of just playing the album live, but regardless, interaction with the audience is (in my opinion) key to a live concert. You could tell the audience was solely feeling the lack of interaction as people starting yelling things out between songs.

  • Classic Albums Live is awesome!

by jayee on 2016-01-26Regent Theater - OshawaRating: 5 out of 5

I enjoyed the Hotel California album performance last Fri night. The musicians were excellent and the vocals were right on. They covered the entire album, took an intermission and then played an extra hour of Eagles best hits. I've seen them previously covering Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon and they were equally awesome!

  • Classic albums live Zeppelin 1

by Anonymous on 2015-11-24Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

An amazing re-creation of a classic album. Plus more for your money as the band does several more songs from the Zeppelin catalog. Never a disappointment seeing one of these shows.

  • Classic Albums Live: Led Zeppelin

by coffeemare on 2015-03-09Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I really enjoyed the show. I was 20 years old when this album came out. The music was amazing but they cranked up the volume near the end and it was too loud for me. I enjoyed the last few songs but would have like to have heard, "When the Levy Breaks". Awesome show. The vocalist did an awesome job hitting those high notes, like when Robert Plant used to sing them. The lead guitarist was also amazing and reminded me of Jimmy Page. Excellent evening!
