    Animals - Outstanding!

by Samnjaz on 2016-04-18Massey Hall - Toronto

I've 'done' at least 75 concerts in my time, including Floyd at Ivor Wynn Stadium in Hamilton back in 1975. It was the final show of their North American Wish You Were Here tour, they started the first set with "Sheep" and "Dogs" -- neither song hadn't even been released until 2 years later. That was the last time I heard Pink Floyd live.....until April 15 at Massey Hall!! Note for note, tone for tone, breathe by breathe - completely perfect! The full album followed by an intermission and then a dozen winners to fill out the second set. This band completely blew the doors off in every possible way, and they seemed to do it so effortlessly...The vocals, harmonies, and even the sound of catching breath between the lyrics were so surprisingly dead-on that if you closed your eyes (which I did several times), you'd swear you were listening to the studio album master. Despite the wonder of it all, the highlight for me, and I'm sure many others, was the Great Gig in the Sky. It was performed flawlessly, note for note; the singer was positively pitch-perfect and I was so emotionally drained and flowing in tears by the end of the song -- it was a privilege to be so touched and moved by this women's exquisite voice -- truly a god-given gift!

    The Beatle music was fun!

The band was very talented and sounded a lot like the Beatles. The music choices were excellent and showcased the talents of the musicians.

Classic Albums Live: The Beatles, Help!

by Ryan55 on 2016-02-22Roy Thomson Hall - Toronto

Overall, the music/performance was excellent. Only reason for only 4 stars was the lack of audience interaction. This may be part of their thing of just playing the album live, but regardless, interaction with the audience is (in my opinion) key to a live concert. You could tell the audience was solely feeling the lack of interaction as people starting yelling things out between songs.

    Classic Albums Live is awesome!

by jayee on 2016-01-26Regent Theater - Oshawa

I enjoyed the Hotel California album performance last Fri night. The musicians were excellent and the vocals were right on. They covered the entire album, took an intermission and then played an extra hour of Eagles best hits. I've seen them previously covering Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon and they were equally awesome!

    Classic albums live Zeppelin 1

by Anonymous on 2015-11-24Massey Hall - Toronto

An amazing re-creation of a classic album. Plus more for your money as the band does several more songs from the Zeppelin catalog. Never a disappointment seeing one of these shows.

    Classic Albums Live: Led Zeppelin

by coffeemare on 2015-03-09Massey Hall - Toronto

I really enjoyed the show. I was 20 years old when this album came out. The music was amazing but they cranked up the volume near the end and it was too loud for me. I enjoyed the last few songs but would have like to have heard, "When the Levy Breaks". Awesome show. The vocalist did an awesome job hitting those high notes, like when Robert Plant used to sing them. The lead guitarist was also amazing and reminded me of Jimmy Page. Excellent evening!

    Classic Albums Live.....Amazing!!

by cheryljo on 2015-02-03Roy Thomson Hall - Toronto

We've seen this band on several different ocassions, covering many different artists. They're always amazing. The Beatles: Let It Be; if you close your eyes and just listen, you would believe it was actually the Beatles. Their motto is "word for word, note for note" and they're true to it. I would highly recommend going to see any concert this band is giving.

Classic Albums Live - Who's Next was the Best

    by Dodger101 on 2014-12-02Massey Hall - Toronto

There was four of us - all great fans of The Who. We had argued, "how can they do Keith Moon's drums; how can they do Pete Townsend's guitars; Entwistle is arguably the best bass player and how could they get close to Roger Daltry's vocals??" Well we were blown away is the bottom line. One of the most enjoyable classic rock concerts we've attended. Of course they needed two guitar players to do Pete's part but they band and their very solid back up horns and strings were just amazing. They have me questioning whether to bother seeing The Who next year when they tour. The only complaint is they had to stop. Thanks for a great evening, go see these guys (and ladies) - it's Rock at its finest.

Who are you, requested by children in the audience

    by Domenico2 on 2014-11-24Massey Hall - Toronto

Whist I haven't heard music of "The Who" for some time, except for period leading up to the concert on Q107. The entire group performed flawlesly note per note as advertised. Domenic polito was amazing, so were the other two guitarists, basist was cool. I was pleasantly surprised with the percusion, the drummer was amazing, I met him afterwards and told him so. Felt the keyboard drowned other instruments out, especially I couldn't hear the violin, and I was trying very hard to pick her out. Great performance.

Enjoyed the Classic Albums band treatment of the Eagles immensely!! they are top-notch musicians and the lead singer (from Pickering...name??) was outstanding! They had the audience in the palm of their hands. Really fun ! Shows you that good music never dies! A+++
