BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Childhood friends Tyler Blake and Michael David began making tracks together in 2009 after discovering they shared musical influences like Paul Simon and Fleetwood Mac. Before long their remixes of acts like Phoenix and Ladyhawke made them a hot new act in their native Los Angeles. Their 2013 debut LP Hanging Gardens received widespread praise from Pitchfork and made Rolling Stone's "20 Best Dance Albums" list that same year. They followed up the release with opening stints on tour with Dragonette, Toro Y Moi, and Cut Copy, earning hundreds of thousands of new fans along the way.
