This was my 4th time seeing Clutch and it was probably their best show. They no longer have their keyboardist but Neil now plays guitar a lot more than he used to and he is a hell of a guitarist. They played almost 2 hours as well which is rare now adays. Would have given this show 5 stars but NO BARONESS!!!! Definitely check out Baroness the next time they come to town.
Definately worth seeing again and again! Doors opened late but worth it in the end.
i was not sure what to expect ,it was sweet they sound just like there cd . the only down side was an hour we stood in line.
Once again, Clutch put on a wildly energetic show. Neil Fallon delivered his archetypical performance, half psychotic street preacher, half redneck hillbilly visionary, alternately evangelizing and then lecturing the crowd with tales of alien conspiracies, corporate religion, mad truckers, and the occasional straightup drinking song. All this while backed up by the rest of the incredibly talented members of Clutch weaving drum bass and guitar lines ranging from the simple and powerful to the incredibly complex, but all with that trademark Clutch kick. Flames Central is a venue with amazing potential for live events. They seem to still be getting into the rhythm of running a live event, but the views and the proximity available from the many levels of seating have no equal in Calgary. Once the organizational kinks are ironed out this will be _the_ place to see live bands of this calibre.
The concert was great! The band played non stop for 2 hours!
this was our first time seeing clutch live and we can't say enough GREAT things about the whole concert!!!! the venue was incredible, the opening bands were great, clutch is INCREDIBLE to see live! they put on such an amazing show and really got the crowd going! if they came back to vancouver we would most likely go again!!!!
No smoke,No mirrors...Just straight up rockNroll...!Clutch is the definition of a truly amazing live act! Yeah Clutch!
