Great show. Let's have another. Good place to watch.
ive seen Clutch 4 times now and they are without a doubt the best band i have ever seen live and i mean ive seen bands such as KISS, AC/DC, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Def Leppard ect. It not so much the show that they put on but its the atmosphere at any Clutch show you go to and the show last night was just great! They played some great classic songs such as Burning Beard and Texan Book Of The Dead as well some of the new stuff so there really was a good mix!. The crowd was great and in general it was just a really good show and i recomend any one to go see Clutch even if you dont like them becuase you will once youve seen them live!
There aren't any bands that can compare to Clutch when it comes to working an audience. No fancy light show, no video screens, just a bunch of guys loving what they do and dragging you along with them.
Cluth was excellent. A must see. The two bands that opened were awesome as well.
this was the best show i have seen to date. clutch were in fine form and ed's event center was packed! it was loud!
Clutch blew our socks off!!!! Most bands don't sound as good live, but Clutch was soooo much better live!!! Loved every minute of it, wish I could've went the next night in Calgary!!
5th time I've seen Clutch. They are the BEST live band period I have ever seen. So consistent! Would see them again and again and again......well you get my point. Their live shows are like a 1/4 mile run in a VERY fast car, powershifting through all gears resulting in a g-force induced permanent smile on your face!!!!
As a fan of Clutch for over 15 years, I admit to be somewhat bias here... Anyone who has followed Clutch for a while probably knows them to be about the most gimmick free and true to roots rock and roll band of today. They progress with each album and keep fresh with original and intelligent lyrics. On stage they're remarkable. For starters, Clutch's guitarist, Tim Sult, plays the entire set for the opening act, Lionize, before taking the stage with the big act. These guys are truly professional and journeymen of live shows. Neil Fallon's voice was crisp, the band played as tight as one could hope, and the mix was spot on. Some fellow concert goers showed disappointment in the encore. They didn't play classic tracks of theirs like Shogun Named Marcus, Big News or Texan Book of the Dead. This didn't bother me a bit. They have around 10 or 11 LP's, several EP's, and have never been single oriented. I figure after doing this for close to 20 years, they probably aren't that interested in playing 15 minute versions of Spacegrass anymore. Besides, the true fans would be fine with more obscure songs like closing with The House that Peterbilt, which they did one night earlier in Calgary. For anyone who knows them and doesn't mind them, just go. There's a great vibe in the crowd and the band won't disappoint. For those who know them well...you know the drill...
I would recommend seeing Clutch to anyone who enjoys a bit heavier music. They put on amazing show and sound even better live than on there albums which is tough to beat. For there first opener they had a local band which I thought was really great. We all like to see local talent going places. Everything about clutch is amazing. It was a late show but well worth it!!!
CLUTCH is Pure Rock Fury! Neil Fallon has enough stage presence to fill a pyramid. You haven't seen a rock show unless you've seen a CLUTCH show!
One of the best bands I have seen live. I can't believe the venue tried to turn the lights of them; but clutch kept rocking out hard! I would see again~!
This show kicked ass! Clutch rocks! The tickets were really expensive, it was worth it though!
I have to be honest, the only song i know by clutch is 10001110101... my boyfriend has listened to them more than i have so when we first bought tickets it was more for him. The opening bands were both really good. One was from Edmonton, they never actually said their name, Second band was Lionhead...great band! Then Clutch. Clutch was awesome. The crowd was crazy and they played until 12 30. Great time and great bands even without knowing the songs and I would definately reccomend it.
awesome band, second time seeing them and i hope to see them again soon
Concert was alright, first two bands kinda sucked. Played Electric Worry which made it all better.
Wow - been listening to these guys for a liitle while - first time seeing them. They completely melted my face!!! Insane show - can't wait to see them again. Lots of songs off a bunch of albums
Ya, dude these guys wail! Amazing set list We heard 'em all, and when you thought you heard 'em all they play something better! The venue itself also pretty impressive! Sound was great, very loud (ears rang for 2 days) and could not find a bad spot to see the band! Big Fan of Clutch and would LOVE to see these guys again!
Blistering metal show with blues roots splashed all over it, incredible sound with a stage performance to match. Don't miss this band live!
the venue was awesome, the band rocked, will see again
Clutch Always puts on a good show!!!Good old fashion rock show
