About

Coldplay are a rock band from London, England that have sold over 100 million albums worldwide and won seven Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year for 2002’s “Clocks” and Song of the Year for 2008’s “Viva La Vida.” Led by frontman and pianist Chris Martin, the band features guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, drummer Will Champion and creative director Phil Harvey. Their debut album, Parachutes, in 2000, contained the breakout single “Yellow.” Further LPs in their discography include A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002), X&Y (2005), Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008), Mylo Xyloto (2011), Ghost Stories (2014), A Head Full of Dreams (2015), Everyday Life (2019) and Music of the Spheres (2021). The latter contained “My Universe,” their smash collaboration with BTS, which turned them into the first British band in history to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Coldplay’s tenth studio album, Moon Music, was released in October 2024, and features “ALL MY LOVE,” “WE PRAY” (with Little Simz, Burna Boy, Elyanna and TINI) and more.

    YEG is Cold For Coldplay!

    Edmonton is known for its music and arts scene and there would be nothing better than having Coldplay jam in our city! I have never been to a concert although I play their music all the time and my kids love hearing them over and over again! Please visit us in YEG (Edmonton) and we will not disappoint just like we know you won't!

    The best concert I’ve ever been to. The lights, the affects, the openers, the sound, the set list. Everything was so amazing. Seats were so good and so affordable (for me) I knew ever song, and was dancing and singing all night. I’ve never felt so happy all in one night. If you haven’t seen Coldplay in concert you need to go. Amazing.

    Coldplay Delivers Again!

    Awesome concert! Love Coldplay! Chris Martin and the band have a natural talent of engaging its fans. The fans delivered too and were accompanying the band in their songs and sometimes, over powering the lyrics of Chris Martin. It was a great atmosphere! BC Place was easy to access and the view from our seats were good! I also thought the ushers were very helpful in assisting fans to their seats.

    Best concert of the year!

    The Coldplay concert was the best concert I have been to all year. The set was gorgeous and the coloured, recyclable wristbands were an excellent added touch. The sound was a bit loud at times, but not too overpowering if you bring headphones. Their frontman, Chris Martin, was also exceptionally good at bringing crowds together. Really loved this concert.

    They put on the best show of my life. Nothing will ever compare. It was so magical and their performances changed the trajectory of my life. I was in the nosebleeds and got last minute, 70CAD tickets but I had a great view of the lights. There was truly no bad seat in the stadium except for the one next to me while they sang the scientist. 💛💛
