The sound was disappointing. There was too much top-end, and judging by the number of road crew there must have been a problem with the equipment on stage. Also, much of the material sounds the same. He needs to consider a shorter show or get back to more of his blues music roots.
Colin always delivers the goods but this show he was very personable and truly excited about performing his craft. Went away with a smile
Great performance, CJ still has it goin' on. Props to the band and to Ally and her crew.
Had tickets up close was a fantastic show! Great to get to see Colin and the band play live finally and really enjoyed the venue.

Colin mingles with the crowd, his music was soul touching with the blue sounds. Came back with 3 Encore songs. There should be more venues at this place, has great acoustics

Having seen Colin James perform many times as far back to the late ‘80’s, he seems to get better with age! His guitar is so varied and gutsy and his moody soulful voice is still divine!
It was a great gig! Played all the hits and was very engaging with the crowd. Even brought Tom Wilson on stage to play a tune. Tickets were a good price. Well worth it. Will go again next time.
I have seen Colin multiple times … I love how intimate he is with the audience … comes right down into the crowd, sits down and starts jamming … he is just awesome … his band is amazing also … so talented … proud of this incredible Canadian artist :)
The venue was easy to locate. There was ample parking unlike some venues in Toronto. The staff was extremely helpful and cheerful. The performance by the opening act and Colin James was outstanding. I have seen many professional acts throughout North America however James far outdid any I have seen. A tireless professional performer. Makes me proud that he and his band are Canadian. Thank you for the wonderful night.

Colin James never ceases to deliver! The concert was energetic, fun, interactive. It was actually an advantage that the concert was delayed. I was then able to listen to the new album enough that when it came to the concert, I could sing along and enjoy the song even more! Fantastic!
So interactive. My husband said it was his best concert Ever. We were in the 14th row and he was playing his guitar right beside us at one point. It was sooo good! I loved his generosity with the starting band Ally Venable. He mentioned them numerous times and than Ally got to rock out at the end with the band. Sooo much talent and kindness!
Pure entertainment from the start to finish of the show. Colin is one of a kind!

The concert was amazing! Colin James just keeps getting better, what a true professional. The band was extremely tight and sounded incredible. Almost a 2 hour performance, left us wanting even more. Can't wait until he comes back to Winnipeg.
I just love how engaging Colin is with the audience. It is great to see an entertainer step off the stage and walk amidst the crowd of fans! When he shares his joy of singing and performing, we all feel the same joy and excitement. Too often performers deliver their concert without fully engaging and simply deliver as per their contract. Colin James exudes happy energy ! YAY!
