Great evening, could have listened to him for hours longer

After 25 years in the Biz, Colin James has a lot of choice material and was placed well throughout the show. I think he good have played longer though. The first 4 songs were to compressed as the sound man was getting the sound together but then the sound opened up and it was great. lee Harvey was also very good but spent as much time talking as he did playing. I definately thought the whole show was great

Too short....not long enough, seemed to be done when he was done...we all wanted more

Tom was a terrific opening act - really enjoyed him and his ability to interact with the audience. Colin started a bit slow with some less popular material, but got better as the night went on! Especially liked his acoustic songs and older material. Could use more multi-media in his show such as some video screens on the sides or above the stage - couldn't see him very well from the back of the Jube where we were sitting. Also would like to hear more interaction with the audience (more background stories about the songs, learn more about Colin, etc).

Excellent guitar player. Great to hear such a variety of his music.

This is the third time I have seen Colin James live and each time I'm even more amazed by his talent. He has to be one of the top blues guitar players out there with a style and smoothness that very few players possess. James has a great voice and the horn section in the band really adds something special. His show was fast paced with no dip in the energy, and there was a good mix of his new material and his hits, with a Stevie Ray Vaughan tune thrown in for good measure. Great Show!

Like my name (and the crowd's resonses) suggests; old songs appreciated the most. Solid band, and Tom too. Q: how many guitars does Collin own/play??????

I could not sit still in my seat !!!! The music was awesome - his voice is amazing! The sound in that venue was soooooooooo good - very well mixed and clear. Amazing to see all the guitars on stage and he played every single one of them. The rest of his band were fabulous and harmonies were awesome as well. I will definitely go see him again - could've sat there for another 2 hours !!!!

Great value -- thoroughly enjoyed the show. Lots of energy and we all just wanted more! I wish I could follow his tour across Canada. Thank you, thank you!!

Having seen Colin James a couple of times, I never pass up the opportunity to see him and take a friend who has not seen him previously. I love his music and his passion for performing and enjoy sharing an artist such as Colin with someone who may have heard his music but not see hime perform Live Colin is one of those Consumate Live performers and Sounds as Good or if not Better Live. His Voice is right on and the incredible Guitar work is just a joy to watch. Colin's back up band was tight and with him on every move.. Nothing was missed

Colin never disappoints and it's amazing to me how he can go hard (Voodoo Thing) and then have great melodies (Into the Mystic). "What a charmer!" was my dates comment :). Great seats even though I ordered late. Felt sorry for several people who sat behind speakers on the edges of the first several rows. They should not have sold those seats!

Colin was in fine form when he was in Winnipeg. His playing and singing was phenomenal and the show was a nice mix, with mostly newer material at the start and his older hits toward the end. I think the double encore says it all: we can't get enough of Colin James. (Seriously, I even flirted with following him to Calgary! :)

What a great show he can put on with "Little Big Band". You can tell he<s playing with heart.

Colin James should be required viewing for everybody on the planet who loves music, no one should have to go through life without experiencing one of his concerts!!! :) I go to many, many concerts of all types of music...I think Colin's might be the best I've seen yet (and I've seen some incredible concerts). There are levels of musical genius and Colin is miles above many other performers, he's a super super super music genius!!! His music is amazing (every song) and he's so versatile. He's a guitar Master!!! His voice is perfect, never wavers, perfect pitch and control and he still hits his high notes. He still even looks the same, the guy never seems to change over the years. Seems like a very nice and humble guy, too, stayed after the show to sign autographs... I will go again in a heartbeat to see him if he ever returns to the NAC.

Colin James: What an entertainer!!! I've wanted to see him for over 10 years now, but he always comes in the new year when we're away down south. So we finally got to see him!! Man can he play the guitar! And THAT VOICE is just as great live! I've been to many of the great concerts that have played in Ottawa & Montreal and I have to say I really enjoyed Colin James from start to finish. Normally I'd get bored half way through, but not this time!! Great entertainment! Thanks

Colin James runs a tight ship with an amazing amount of material. The music was spot on, the band was tight.....it was a great concert!

Colin James came to the NAC in Ottawa with a larger band than he's been touring with over the last couple of years. They totally cranked it!! It was awesome to hear them do some of the classics like "Real Stuff" and "Voodoo Thing"! His stuff from the new album "Fifteen" were really cool too.

LOTS OF GREAT GUITAR PLAYING AND MUSIC. FUN VENUE WISH COLIN WOULD HAVE PLAYED MORE OLDIES. WISH HIM WELL ON HIS TOUR.

Always a great show. Solid band to back him up. A good mix of the tried and true oldies and his new songs.

The Colin James concert was fantastic. I love how he feels the music he plays. Next time he's in town to play I'll be one of the first in line.
