i was told by the staff that i was unable to retrieve my lost phone until Jan 2 at Celebrities, why was i unable to view if you guys had my phone that same night?!!??! secondly, music during day 1 was too mellow
Enjoy the music the costumes and the people meet so many people that are having a blast ...being with your group of friends for a good two days of music ... just the vibe gets u dancing feel the music vibe...
Overall I give this festival a C. Enjoyed most of the artists. Beer prices were ridiculous. I chose not to tip because I did not feel that the bar service was good, but i found out later that the server altered my receipt and took a few extra dollars from my credit card. I though that was really low and deceitful. Enjoyed most of the lineup but Tiesto's set was a bit tired. Had seen him 2 times in the past at different venues and was hoping for newer material. Overall experience was fair, considering that this is Vancouvers biggest EDM festival, would like to see improvement in the future. I paid for the VIP tickets, seemed like the venue was not sold out. I think if the ticket prices were a bit more affordable, they could probably fill the stadium. Should be about the music, and less like a cash grab. Food sucked, was overpriced. Felt that Vancouvers food truck industry might have flourished here, otherwise please offer better food. It was terrible.
I came for the music, I left with a new outlook on life and a new friend. I met the woman of my dreams here.
This is my 2nd year going to contact and it seems to get better every year , for some reason this year the party felt short but the experience was amazing it was by far the best thing ever !! I’m hoping next year the party will be a 3 day event ! The party needs to be 3 days long from now on 2 days is just a tease .
I smoke pit should be allowed for 19+, outside venue for vape, cigarettes and weed. Would remove a huge part of security and help people in crowds who want to avoid smoke, stay away from it!
I love contact but I dont like how the stage was so much smaller this year... the lights used to be amazing but this year it was mediocre.. KASKADE AND TIESTO WERE AMAZING THOUGH
Please go back to the printable tickets. I understand why you guys went to the mobile ones but printable ones are so much easier. And I heard of a bunch of people losing their phones and stuff so I think it would be better to do them on paper so they can be reprinted if necessary
Contact day 2 Main stage was one of the best line ups I have ever seen or been too. Who ever organized that is an absolute all star. First time attending and I will definitely be coming back to Vancouver next year.
i was really disappointed with the sound system this year. i could have a conversation with a group of people while in the crowd at main stage for a majority of the time. it was so quiet!! however during fisher (3rd to last set of day 2) the volume definitely increased to what it should have been at the entire time. Also, the stage set up was also really disappointing. I much preferred where the stage was set up in previous years at the long side of the stadium. it gave more room for visuals and just made the space feel bigger. This is my 4th contact and definitely my least favourite year yet, but i still had fun time and will hopefully be back next year.

Mobile tickets is the worst! Really need to go back to hard tickets or paper tickets. Bought 4 tickets and out of the 3 tickets I had to go through security with my children that attending.
Contact 2019 was kinda a let down. The set up was really weird and make the space feel really cramped. Last year the stage was along the long side of the stadium which gave more room to move around. Some of the artists didn’t pull through and go as hard as I hoped. Contact 2018 was hands down amazing, and this year was a let down. Hopefully contact 2020 will be better!
Artist line up was great. Lockers were very well set up. Drinks too expensive ($9 for a light beer??) Bathroom lines too long. Will only go as VIP from now on... GA has too many lines.
I went both days to this event and enjoyed it so much. The line-up was great. I also purchased VIP tickets and really appreciated the VIP line and the easily accessible washrooms at the venue.
I got the 2 day VIP for Contact. I felt scammed getting VIP because all it got me was a room that looks like you're in the club. I partied in the main stage with all the general admissions. Tiesto is such a talented DJ the music festival was so lit! Just go with General admission, no need for VIP as there is no value in VIP.
Contact 2019 was a huge down grade compared to 2018. The stage was moved to the corner of BC place so it was less than half the size as last year. Only half the walkways were open so everything was always congested and packed. The performers were decent but could’ve used more of a mix, day 1 was very slow in my opinion. Overall hated all the changes they made.
This was my fourth year and by far my favourite music wise. Can’t wait for next year
Went with my partner and it was the best time we had before the decade ended. Was an amazing experience overall
