About

Counting Crows are a Grammy and Academy Award-nominated rock band that have sold over 20 million albums worldwide. Behind popular singles “Mr. Jones” and “Round Here,” Counting Crows’ debut album August and Everything After (1993) sold 7 million copies and peaked at No. 4 on Billboard 200. The sorrowful, roots-driven vocals of singer Adam Duritz transcended the alt-rock charts with 1996’s Recovering the Satellites. Fueled by the success of “A Long December,” Recovering the Satellites reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200, cementing the Counting Crows as one of thegreatest adult alternative artists of all time.

    Counting Crows Amazing show!!!

by DeuceV361 on 2010-07-10The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

I just have to say my wife and I extremely enjoyed the show. The lights were greatly enjoyed with the music that created a memorable night that we will rave about for time to come. Only one draw back though, we were hoping for a copy of the show for our pleasure, but there are none available.

    Counting Crows really disapointing

    by Eribou20 on 2010-07-10Casino Rama - Orillia

My wife and I went to the Counting Crows concert in Rama last night and was quite disapointed. The music was too loud (base and drum) and could barely hear the singer. They didn't even play one of their biggest hit "Mr. John", American Girl or Round here was not on the line neither. I have to say the support band (Agustana) was pretty good, almost stole the show. And they had a rap/Hard rock guy name No Tyme or something....what was that about. He was good but not really the place at a Counting Crows concert. The room was only half full and I understand why now.

don't waste your time or money

by pepp on 2010-07-10The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

If you are expecting to see a Counting Crows concert, like I was, don't go. We maybe heard a handfull from the Crows and the rest was from the other 2 acts that were on stage with them. The last thing I wanted to hear at a Counting Crows show is Rap music. Even the few Crows songs that they played were butchered with the mixing of the other singers and sounds. I have waited for years to see the Counting Crows and I can't believe how bad it was. I'm not the only one who fees like this. We heard plenty of other people complaining after the show too. BEWARE.

    Crows needed to be counted!!!

by AudieNB on 2010-07-10Casino Rama - Orillia

A little dissappointed in the overall performance - not enough Crows tunes!! seemed like a promo for the other band that was with them, I was looking for a night of the crows old school and maybe a taste of what is to come, I found like we were being pushed to like a new band to replace them ????

    Crows/Augustana event was amazing

by Woodtik on 2010-07-10Casino Rama - Orillia

I had my doubts about the Crows' circus-type format for this event, especially the rumour that there was a rapper involved in the circus. Although I like the Crows' music and have never heard of Augustana, I was amazed how well this format worked...I was completely blown away when the curtain rose to a party of friends and music of about 15 musicians, who came and went throughout the evening. I now have more of an appreciation for the Crows and am a now a fan of Augustana as well. This will surely go down as a concert to remember and I would defintely recommend anyone to see it if you get a chance. On a related note, although I did not charge to the front of the stage, I was pleased to see that the folks at Casino Rama permitted this for this concert (this is definitely NOT THE NORM at the usual reserved Rama venue). Overall...a fantastic time...

    Counting crows concert

by livemusiclover1 on 2010-07-10The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Thoroughly enjoyed this concert. I was surprised at the wide variety of music styles performed and the quality. They definately had people singing along and dancing. If I had one wish it would be for them to include more of the oldies but goodies

    counting crows was missing

by larman on 2010-07-10Casino Rama - Orillia

very poor performance,,was sold as counting crows concert not a circus performance with some B band and Rap clowns. Adam has lost touch with his fan base.4 songs with the Counting crows alone does not justify the price.

I thought the Counting Crows put on an amazing show. I really enjoyed Augustana as well. It was awesome to see so many musicians playing together and having fun doing so. It was all that I expected and so much more. Totally amazing!

    Where were the Counting Crows

    by ChrisD79 on 2010-07-10Casino Rama - Orillia

Augustana were pretty good, but I paid to see the Counting Crows so not sure why they played less than half the songs. An Notar - seriously???? People in my section started laughin when he kept coming out! The Crows were good when they were playing, but it amounted to less than half a set.

not the worst, but not the best

by erook on 2010-07-10The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

i've loved counting crows since way back from august and everything after. it did seem like they''ve lost their luster in the last album. they did put on a great show and i did like how they collaborated lots of songs with Augustana (which i found to sound better than counting crows) there was this white rapper that came on a few time which i found ruined most of it. i'm not against rap but cc is not knows for that genre of music. one other beef i had was that when i was trying to sing along with songs like mr. jones and rain king, adam duritz did his own remixed version of these songs which did sound good but was hard to sing along to. overall good but i would have like to have seen just counting crows by themselves and more acoustic style.

Travelling Circus method can revolutionize concert

by OBlade on 2010-07-10Casino Rama - Orillia

If you came into this expecting a simple Counting Crows rock concert, you'd have been disappointed. However, what you got instead was way better. Instead of featuring regular support acts that take up a 40 minutes set plus 30 minutes in stage-setup each, Counting Crows integrated the 'supporting bands' into the show. Countng Crows songs were mixed up with Augustuna songs, plenty of cool covers, and some white rapper that wasn't terrible but I didn't catch his name. This idea of integrating support acts into the very show as 'guests' and having them all play together saves stage-setup time for the audience and provides a consistent flow to the show. I loved the idea and I really hope more bands adopt it, instead of having a double-bill that consists of one band playing, then a stage change, then the second band. This was way better. Now granted, I was disappointed that Mr. Jones wasn't really played, but most Counting Crow hits were. I've got no idea who Augustana is, but I'm definitely checking them out now, they were very good. Also, the venue was excellent. Overall, one of the best shows I've seen lately.

    Counting Who??

by rockgoddess on 2010-07-10Casino Rama - Orillia

Where were the Counting Crows?? I do recall them appearing on the stage once in a while, but it certainly didn't seem that they were the headline act. Augustana was more than an opening act - they were involved in almost every number. Great musicians, but I missed hearing the true Counting Crows sound... Come on guys, you have enough great material that you could play for hours... what happened?????

    Amazing Show

by musicianyyz on 2010-07-10Casino Rama - Orillia

The performance was amazing... Personable, engaging and very intimate despite the large venue. Opening act Augustana are remarkably talented musicians and the flow of the show integrated the talents of both bands... Unique way to present the skills.. which may have upset a few traditionalists but provided almost 2 hours of huge entertainment Well worth the drive to RAMA for the show.

    Crows and Augustana

by Redstorm on 2010-07-10Casino Rama - Orillia

Wow. Took my wife for her birthday. Totally amazed by the show. Really unique set up. The "warm up" band played with The Crows off and on all night. The two groups were crazy good. 15 musicians on stage. Full out encore was spectacular. Honestly had never heard of Augustana (and I listen to music all the time). This band should be headlining. Their style, music and lyrics blew us away. Both lead singers perform with so much passion. They honestly look like they wouldn't want to be anywhere else during the show.

    Counting Crows

by timmymacband on 2010-07-09The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Grreat venue at the Colosseum at Caesers Windsor. One of the best place to see a concert these days >The show was awsome two bands 15 people on stage at one time just loving the music. The circus was in town and the music just flowed all night . I like the concept of two bands playing together tonight Adam has a great idea with this project and people who love music will love this concert.I would love to go again .
