About

Counting Crows are a Grammy and Academy Award-nominated rock band that have sold over 20 million albums worldwide. Behind popular singles “Mr. Jones” and “Round Here,” Counting Crows’ debut album August and Everything After (1993) sold 7 million copies and peaked at No. 4 on Billboard 200. The sorrowful, roots-driven vocals of singer Adam Duritz transcended the alt-rock charts with 1996’s Recovering the Satellites. Fueled by the success of “A Long December,” Recovering the Satellites reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200, cementing the Counting Crows as one of the greatest adult alternative artists of all time. In May 2025, the band will release their new album Butter Miracle, The Complete Sweets!

opening act Dashboard Confessional was really good. Counting Crows were a band I had always had regrets on never seeing. They delivered. Was a great venue to see them with all seats being good. Nice explanation by Adam on Miami song.

  • New Fan

by Allison on 2023-07-02Rating: 5 out of 5

Counting Crows were phenomenal. The musicianship, the music and Adam Duritz were simply amazing. I bought the tickets because I liked the 3 songs I had knowledge of, but am a big fan now. Every song had great lyrics and melody and Adam drew the crowd in with his openness and heartfelt conversations. I hope others will get to know their music - it's fantastic. The OLG venue was great. We were in the 2nd balcony and the visuals and sound were very good. No question, I would definitely see them again if they come anywhere near the Toronto area. We go to many concerts and this is right up there as one of our favourites!

  • What a letdown

by Jnb on 2023-07-01Rating: 1 out of 5

This was a band I’ve been waiting to see for decades. I’ve been to over 80 concerts but never have I walked away unsatisfied. Sadly, that was the case with Counting Crows. I think it’s important that performers recognize they’re there to entertain the audience. Not to perform self-indulgent, creative remixes of the classics we have been signing along to for decades. Absolutely no one could sign along because the songs weren’t “sung;” they were spoken. And everyone was so excited when they opened with “Round Here” but that quickly dissipated after the first chorus. Mr. Jones was hardly recognizable. Such a shame. A lot of people in our section walked out halfway through. On the plus side, Dashboard Confessional was great!

  • A great show after 30 years!

by Krissy on 2023-07-01Rating: 5 out of 5

I’ve seen Counting Crows many times since the 90s and this show was great! They played a good mix of hits and lesser known songs for the fans that know all of their music. I’m familiar with all of their songs, so this was a great set list for me. It is interesting to hear Adam talk about the meaning behind some of their songs too and to hear some ad lib lyrics for some of the verses of songs. Counting Crows lyrics are the best ones out there and I had a great time at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino. It was worth the drive to Niagara Falls for the show, but it would have been great if they played Toronto as well as many fans drove from the GTA for the show. Overall a great show!

  • Disappointing

by Jo on 2023-07-01Rating: 3 out of 5

The opening act was a bit too hard rock for us. Counting crows were difficult to understand, and the rhythym was off.
