Cyndi Lauper is a pop singer and activist from Queens, New York. Upon the release of her 1983 debut album, She’s So Unusual, Lauper became a pop sensation, thanks to the success of Top 5 singles including “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” “Time After Time,” “She Bop” and “All Through the Night.” Lauper also won Best New Artist at the 1985 Grammys. Her second and third albums, True Colors (1986) and A Night to Remember (1989), added more hit singles like “True Colors” and “I Drove All Night” to her oeuvre and by the end the decade, Lauper had become synonymous with the ’80s new wave movement and synthpop sound. In addition to her twelve solo albums, Lauper also wrote the music and lyrics for the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Kinky Boots, for which she became the first solo woman to ever win the Tony for Best Original Score. In the fall of 2024, the singer embarked on her Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour in conjunction with her documentary film LET THE CANARY SING.

Awesome show! She's still got it! Signing and dancing! Awesome! Would watch again! 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Best concert I’ve been to all year. Cindy put on an amazing show. So glad I went to this farewell tour 💜
Saw her opening show tonight in Montreal and she was absolutely flawless!! Even with a cold. She looks and sounds incredible. Everyone was on their feet all night. Highly recommend going to see her if you can. She's so sincere and appreciate her fans. Loved her.
cindi lauper farewell tour is probably her last tour i guess and probably our last chance to see her in concert live. she was very popular back then in the eighties and we did not forget her. i am happy she comes to montreal canada for the first show of the tour. even if i am a man , i was young when she started and i loved her songs. my wife liked her much too like many girls back then who wanted to have fun :)
Together Boy George and Cyndi Lauper were amazing Rosie O'Donnell added some light hearted politicaly centred comedy along with an amazing set on her drums.
My wife and I attended this show and it was nothing short of amazing! We had great seats and thoroughly enjoyed the sight lines from our vantage point. We have always enjoyed concerts at Massey Hall and this show just added to our experience.
A very good concert, she is great. Loved the stories, sense of humour and obviously her singing
Totally loved this concert. Even though it was 30 years ago when "she's so unusual" came out - Cyndi performed all the songs on her album and did it better than ever! I love Massey Hall!.
Lot of fun! Good crowd with a lot of energy! Had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the sow~
Recommend in heartbeat. The liveliest I have seen a crowd at Massey Hall. She is still a little ball of fire, with a voice that takes you in and back to "She's so Unusual" album.
From the first song Money Changes Everything, I felt starstruck!!! Her voice belted out song with extreme power. I love her communication with the audience, story telling on life experience. A+++++ 5*****
We had a wonderful time. Cindy is an incredible singer. I've seen her for the first time and I'll go see her again.
Can only give it a two. As much as I like Cyndi the show was poor due to the sound mix. Instruments (keyboards) drowning out Cyndi who was in strong voice but not enough to overcome the accompanying band. The opening actt was noise Hunter Valentine wrong choice to open. Im not alone in these sentiments many of those around me felt the same way.
From dancing on the speakers to the highest notes hit, Cyndi put on an amazing show. We didn't want it to end.
Cyndi Lauper was awesome! The meet and greet was very short, but since she looked so adorable and cute and nice, it made it worth while to have the pictures. she was upset with the fan for taking pictures up close so she took it!
Although the concert was nice, I take issue with Massey Hall letting concert goers who were sitting at the back to stand at the front and in the aisles blocking those who paid more money to be at the front. Massey Hall tells me that this is out of their hands and up to the artist. I don't buy it.
Wow, this woman knows how to get you moving! The energy is out of this world! Loved her in 1984 and still love her today! This concert had everyone on their feet, she warmed our hearts with stories of the long road she has travelled in the music industry. The music was perfect starting with Money Changes Everything to Time After Time, Girls Just wanna have Fun...on and on it goes!
An extremely enjoyable concert. Cyndi was amazing. Great entertainer and just love the music.
Her voice is still the same. If you shut your eyes you would think you were listening to her album 30 years ago!
