this was such an amazing experience, all the topic that were discussed the creativity, the music, the advice everything. The atmosphere alone i had a such an amazing time, i would definitely go again!!!
I had such an amazing time! We laughed and cried. The story was moving and relatable because it touched on issues we face daily as black women that we never get to see on stage. You better bring it back and ask Trey Anthony to write more!

This was perfect way to end the year. The music and heart-felt emotions expressed by this beautiful cast makes me want to come back annually to see 'da Kink in My Hair.
What a timeless Canadian classic. It was my fourth time seeing Da Kink over almost twenty years, and I laughed and cried as much as I did the first time. Powerful, honest, and so entertaining.

Saw this play 20 years ago and it stands relevant and truthful to me. I'm 20 years older and the message is timeless(women are each other's biggest source of strength.

Was amazing to see again 20 years later. Returning and new cast fantastic. Beautiful expression of so many experiences and perspectives of Black women. And loved the Eglinton West opening set :).
Absolutely excellent show. Staging, script, acting, post-show recognition of black women leaders from Toronto. An outstanding evening to which I am thrilled I took my teenaged daughter. I wish the run was longer so I could go back with other friends. 5+ stars for sure.

Saw this show for the first time 20 years ago at the fringe festival. I was so moved by the performances I sobbed through part of the show. This new updated production does not disappoint. It is a rousing good time from start to finish. The poignant moments are still there. Bring a hankie. Thoroughly enjoyable and needs to go back on the road.
My girlfriend and I saw this play 17 years ago and we enjoyed it in once again. Well worth it. A must see!
This performance bred a rollercoaster of emotions. Laughter, pride, sadness, shock. This show had it all. I was truly impressed. I will definitely see this show again.

Fabulous in every way. Especially loved the monologue about coming out and rejection by her mother and the little girl disclosing her sexual abuse. Incredible acting, creative staging and excellent singing and dancing. I loved the fierceness and authenticity of the script. This play was deeply affecting. I will remember it always. I highly highly recommend it.
