About
Daniel Simonsen is Norwegian/Chilean stand-up and writer who made his US late-night debut on "Late Night with Seth Meyers". He can be seen in Stavros Halkias's new feature, "Let's Start A Cult" on Hulu. He has appeared on CC Stand-Up Featuring, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Stavvy's World, and recurred on Comedy Central's "This Week at the Comedy Cellar". Daniel's Colbert performance was reviewed by Vulture. He was named New York's Funniest at the 2022 New York Comedy Festival, won UK's So You Think You're Funny, and received the Best Newcomer Award at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Daniel recurred on Vic and Bob's BBC sitcom alongside Matt Berry, "House of Fools", and ITV's "Timewasters". His appearance on Russell Howard's "Good News" hit 2.4 millions views on YouTube. He also created and wrote his own digital series for ALL4 called "Daniel" that he starred in alongside Natasia Demetriou and Brett Goldstein. He is a Comedy Cellar regular and tours internationally. He opens for Louis CK and Bert Kreischer.
