Cavo, Theory of a Deadman, Daughtry.
by Zackman on 2009-11-03Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5I was aware that Theory of a Deadman was opening for Daughtry, but I was unaware of the Band "Cavo" that played before Theory. I had never heard of Cavo, but I was very impressed with the sound of them, and I felt that they had a bit of a relaxed 3 Days Grace sound to them. I noticed that the mic volume for both Cavo and Theory of a deadman was a little low, and the music seemed to over power their voices a bit on occassion. I still thought that both bands did an amazing job, despite the mic level. When Daughtry came on, the mic level seemed to have been adjusted, and I could hear him very well. He played a lot of my favorites, including "Call Your Name" off the new album "Leave this town". I was hoping that since I noticed Chris Daughtry doing backup harmony for the song "By The Way" on Theory of a Deadman's new album, that they would work that in somehow, and maybe it would have been a good entrance for Daughtry, or encore, or something. The concert was amazing, and I am very glad that I spent the money. I would definitely recommend a future show to friends.I am also planning to see Daughtry next time he is in Toronto, and perhaps as many times after that as I can. Chris Daughtry is a natural on stage, and I have been following him since American Idol. He is one of the few I have seen on Idol, that I swore to get the album of if ever released, and I have purchased both his debut album, and his follow up. Favorite Performer you say? After the concert.....well....YEAH!
