Loved Daughtry! It was a great show!

by Julestld on 2009-11-03Air Canada Centre - Toronto

It was great light show and super special when he was presented his platinum award here in Toronto. My only complaint was that Chris's vocals could have been louder. Other than that my 14 yr old daughter and I loved it and would see him again. His new cd is really good. Thanx guys for such a great show for us Canadian fans!!!! Oh ya, unless I missed the song he didn't sing my fave "Crashed"

    Daughtry

by daughtryfan on 2009-11-03Air Canada Centre - Toronto

I thought he sang well.....much more unpolished than the album (in a good way). For all the pyro they had I wish they invested in a screen so that we could see him up close better. Coming back on stage for the encore and singing only 2 songs was not worth missing the train home so that irritated me...that and all the downtime between acts. Which is why it's my preference to have only one opening act. He's not very engaging with the audience. What seemed like an intentional feedback noise was annoying. Regardless, I love his songs and think he's a great artist. Overall, I thought they were great and I was happy he saved the best for last (There and Back Again).

Amazing concert! Daughtry put on one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time. All the band members were in top form and ready to rock the haus. From the lighting, fire works, back drop, sound and performance, everything was perfect. Great show, don’t miss it. Thank you guys, for making it a night to remember.

    Daughtry was powerful

by RockGroupie on 2009-11-03Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Daughtry has an extremely powerful voice. His vocals were really great. The setup between songs could have been a little more organized. I am very happy for this young man who went from being kicked off American Idol to playing the ACC and having his face and name on t-shirts worn by fans. American Idol you did this guy a favour.

    Daughtry was making us YAWN!!!

by MDDCrazy on 2009-11-03Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Daughtry should have opened for "Theory of a deadman" and not the other way around. We sat through 4 songs and just could not take it anymore so we left.

    terrible sound quality

by yeana on 2009-11-03Air Canada Centre - Toronto

I love Daughtry and I love Theory of a Deadman. The sound was off and muffled the whole show, it was very hard to hear them actually sing- it really affected how I felt about the show.

    Daughtry was amazing!

by jiblits on 2009-11-03Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Really enjoyed the concert. Sometimes though for me the music overpowered Chris' voice. Wished they were a bit quicker starting the next song.....seemed to lose momentum with the pause between songs. Overall it was a great concert!

Daughtry was great - sound was horrible at ACC

by Tooobad on 2009-11-03Air Canada Centre - Toronto

It is actually really disappointing that one of my favourite artists came to Toronto (only Canadian Tour date) and and we couldn't hear the singers voice. Not only that - the music wasn't loud enough to fee like we were at a concert.

    daughtry was at their best!

by gglouise on 2009-11-03Air Canada Centre - Toronto

I thought the show energy was really high! The sound was good but I would like to have had Chris's vocals turned up a bit. The stage was always busy with the band moving to all sides of the arena and i enjoyed watching them receive Platinum status for the second CD> I do however, have a bit of a complaint. My daughter and I wanted to purchased t-shirts from Daughtry but the most amazing t-shirts did not come in xtra large, which means made for women with boobs. Next time I see them, and there will be a next time, I would like to be able to purchase a t-shirt like we bought we the band opened for Bon Jovi at Casino Rama.

    Need better sound!!!!!

by Sparky5555 on 2009-11-03Air Canada Centre - Toronto

The show and the set were good, the only downfall was the sound. Not very loud and with the range on Daughtry voice it did not do him any justice. Spend some $$$$$ on new speakers and turn it up!!!!!

    Daughtry not what I expected....

by erikcgarneau on 2009-11-03Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Thow show was absolutely good, I don't want to start negative. But two opening acts made for a very long show. Cavo, a very good up and coming group, and of course seeing Theory of a deadman was super cool. I have to say though, it took about a half hour between each artist to get the stage ready, so by the time Daughtry came out, we were like meh. I didn't even stay for the whole show, Monday night, long set changes, I was tired. But Daughtry did a great job, they packed the stadium and did not disappoint with lots of melodic vocals from Chris, and tons of pyro-technics to keep things going.

    Daughtry Rocked The House!

by kidrocks on 2009-11-03Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Daughtry's performance rocked the house and proved that Southern style rock can still draw an audience. The sound was a bit muffled in the beginning and it took the band a while to warm up, but they pulled it together and the results were amazing. The whole crowd sang to the lyrics and I was surprised at how few people were up dancing (this had nothing to do with Chris but with the overall energy level and temperament of the audience). Highlights: Chris's guitar solo (In the Air Tonight), other wailing guitar solos and the show's pyrotechnics. Cover bands Cavo and Theory of a Deadman put on a good show and made a real effort to reach out to the audience. Rock on boys - rock on!

What was up with the "mike" at ACC

by Meg71 on 2009-11-03Air Canada Centre - Toronto

I love Daughtry saw them open up for Nickleback 2 summers ago BUT last night at the ACC the sound SUCKED! Daughtry, had they been miked properly, would have been incredible but you could barely understand what they were singing unless you knew the song - thank god I did!!!!!
