david byrne,st.vincent and the band were all top notch. the sound was great ,overall it was a very awsome but it would have been icing on the cake with a few more older songs.
It was nice to see and hear David Byrne again. What is great with his shows is that he always blends new music with old favourites. This year with the addition of St. Vincent, the blend of big band sounds was really a welcome addition.
I have seen David Byrne in concert a total of 5 times. This was not the best of the 5, but still worth seeing.......... he's always worth seeing.
lots of horns and great staging. all songs were executed perfectly. would have liked to hear more talking heads songs. still worthwhile.
St. Vincent, besides being gorgeous, is a unique guitar player and has an amazing voice. David Byrne reminded me why I liked Talking Heads back in the day. His voice was exactly the same. He had the same quirky dance moves and he was intelligent and fun at the same time. The choreography with the horns, choreography with each other, inventive music. Stellar show and so much fun.
