I had a great time -- Cassidy is charismatic, an excellent showman and is far more talented as a musician than I would have believed, based on my experience of him as a 70's teen idol. Could've listened/rocked-out to the music all night.
His back up band was superb, too -- seasoned musicians who knew their stuff.
Although it was nice to hear some of his old hits (some of which were rearranged, and improved by their new arrangement, I thought), I think he is held back, as an artist, by the public's demand for his old bubblegum stuff. It was super-annoying that some fans advanced upon the stage to try and get Cassidy's autograph WHILE HE WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF SINGING/PLAYING A SONG! HOW RUDE IS THAT?! I'm glad that Cassidy ignored the autograph seekers and that security sent them back to their seats.
Altogether a memorable experience. Look forward to seeing him again, possibly in Vegas.
