Fantastic experience - both tickets booking process & the show
It was great and kept us on the edge of our seats all during the show! Amazing costumes and talent! So happy we went! Kids and adults enjoyed!
I attended the event with my four year old grandson. Most children there seemed to be aged anywhere from 2 to 7 years old. We arrived at the arena in plenty of time before the show. There was a long lineup outside in the cold and there were minimum check-in stations inside. Lots of kids, way too much time getting in. The halls were jammed up with little kids low to the ground and going slowly and parents creating jam ups buying the promo items. We missed the first 15 minutes of the show. The start of the show (when the characters were introduced) was lively with foot stomping and singing and my grandson was very interested because it was interactive. From there however, the show seemed to be geared only to the young girls. The sets and costumes were very very simple and basic and I found the recorded speaking hard to understand so I'm sure that the kids didn't get it. Actually the whole performance was very boring and disappointing. I would have thought that at the high price of the tickets and the fact that this is Disney, the show would have been more fun and interactive with the kids. The intermission was short and because of the limited number of concessions, the lines were long for food (the food was not geared to the kids at all and was as expensive as it is on game nights). Little kids don't move that quickly and again the halls were jammed up. Again, there were also long lineups inside for the promotional items - glow wands, hats, stuffed animals, etc. So....we missed the first part of the second act. When the show was over, we had to walk by the promo items (which you cannot miss) and my grandson asked for a glow wand. They were $50! We settled on a souvenir cup with a ball of coloured, shaved ice inside, price - $20. In retrospect, this expensive show was a big waste of time and I wouldn't recommend it. Surely there should be better shows aimed at kids, that don't cost an arm and a leg.
First off, there were no indications that any shows would be in a language other than English, so I was pretty disappointed when the show started in French. I think everything was very beautifully done, but was not targeted for the Disney kids of today. For example, Fantasia is completely foreign to most people my age, let alone my son's.
The show was excellent it was the rest of the experience in the Canadian Tire Center that ruined it. First they only had 2 lines open for Disney merchendise. The line ups where insane not to me tion the prices where out of control. $45 for a plastic sword. Second the food line ups where ok but I waited 25 mins for a hamburger and hot dog for the kids to be told 15mins in they ran out of hotdogs. There was no one else in line. The show had already started. The food was terrible and of course, grossly overpriced the kids didnt even eat it. Canadian tire you knew how many people would be attending. Make sure you staff to accomadate that volume. So disappointed. The kids spent equal times in line up as they did watching the show. As I said before the show was excellent but the overall experience was not.
Really enjoyable show. The children were excited and loved every bit of it. Some of the audio was less than ideal but overall really enjoyable both for the children and adults
The getting into the venue was quite bumpy with extremely long line ups due to poor parking systems (i.e. the parking persons system was not connecting or registering the pre-paid parking barcode. Then the. same thing happened getting into the venue with the ticket checker not being able to use the proximity ticket sensor. The show was excellent and the kids loved it.
We had an amazing time at the show. It was incredible!! We will be returning for years to come.
The show was great my kids love it, but the prices for Disney merchandise or food is completely crazy. 20$ for a snowcone in a cheap, but I mean cheap as cheap can be, cup of Disney!!!
The show was fantastic and well worth the money. The variety of the segments and continuity retained my Granddaughter's full attention. I would highly recommend the show and provide a lifetime memory for the children in attendance.
