    Mr. Warmth

by chefmike on 2010-05-02Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

To start off the band was fantastic. Enjoyed the Vegas style show. Don was as usual his wonderful sarcastic self , he had us in stitches. Would love to see him again in the future when he comes to Vancouver. It was a pleasure to hear the Rat Pack humor again. Loved it when he pulled people from the audience and made fun of them. All in good laughs of course. It was a very enjoyable evening.

Fantastic show. He has not lost his slapshot humour. We were rolling in our seats!

    Don Rickles still has it

by jmbraem on 2010-05-02Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

Don Rickles put an a very entertaining show. He can say things that would be unacceptable if delivered by others, but he has a way of allowing us to laugh at ourselves and others without guilt. He is amazing - I envy his energy! I did not care for the opening act - I found the singer rather poor.

    Rickles still has it!

by JDel on 2010-05-02Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

We really enjoyed Don Rickles show at the Red Robinson theater. We were only disappointed that he was not on stage longer - he is remarkably sharp and quick witted and although raw at times, still a humble and sentimental gentleman at heart.

    Old and Tired

by quaykid on 2010-05-02Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

Then Don Rickles show with the addition of Kenny Coleman was two old men at the end of their career. Coleman tried, but his voice is gone. Rickles showed signs of his old self, but the show ended up being a rehash of his years in showbusiness and his love for his wife, mother, and old pals Bob Newhart and Frank Sinatra. It is time for him to retired to the talk shows to promote his book.

    He still has it!

by Robbin on 2010-05-02Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

Wow.......he was in prime form! I have to say that he sure doesn't act his age. Hahaha. Hope he comes around here again. I'm sorry I won't get to see him mix it up with Joan Rivers on his next stint cuz for me, that'd be the best!

Mr. Rickles was so funny and full of energy!!! And a pretty good singer :) But if you're a sensitive person and easily offended, don't go.

    Don Rickles is HILARIOUS

by BMXer on 2010-05-01River Rock Show Theatre - Richmond

I am so happy I went to see Mr. Warmth. It was truly a pleasure to see old school entertainment at it's finest. He sang, danced, joked and complimented all in one show! I highly suggest that you see him before he retires.

    A true classic!

by arpmere on 2010-05-01River Rock Show Theatre - Richmond

What an icon! Truly a classy show put on by an even classier man. One of the last greatest still with us. My hats off to Don Rickles for putting on a hell of a show and for being himself. Of course it was made complete by his outstanding band and opening act...what's his name again? Lol! Keep em laughing Don!

    Rickles still a killer

by jaymys on 2010-05-01River Rock Show Theatre - Richmond

everything I expected... the opening act was horrible, being from Winnipeg it hurts me to say that since he is from there but time has passed him by. Rickles can still deliver.

    Rickles is a legend

by BrianFL on 2010-05-01River Rock Show Theatre - Richmond

Go see Don Rickles if you can. at 84, he is still as hilarious as ever. His stories are great and his way of interacting with the audience is still priceless. Well worth it. A very genuine, old-school comedian.

Still going strong at his age. Delivered a wonderful set. As he put it you have to love life and he certainly does. It was absolutely great. However, the opening act was terrible but in all fairness that type of music is not my thing.

    Don Rickles A Master Entertainer

by Leeds on 2010-05-01River Rock Show Theatre - Richmond

Don Rickles had me in stiches. The best comdian I've seen in a long while. Especially seeing there wasn't any swearing invcolved as there are with lesser individuals. He is a great all round entertainer. I only hope I'm fit as he is if I get to live as long as he has. He even had my 23 year old son up on stage...that too had everyone roaring with laufghter.

My bucket list is getting full....

by HockeyPuckYEG on 2010-04-30River Cree Resort & Casino - Edmonton

Don Rickles was fantastic! The venue was terrible. Bad sound, water everywhere, and uncomfortable seating. Did I mention how great Rickles was? He didn't disappoint at all. Amazing energy for a guy his age...or a guy 30 years younger.

    Don Rickles ***** 5 Stars

by Neil007 on 2010-04-29River Cree Resort & Casino - Edmonton

Don Rickles is a comedy icon and has proven he still has the wonderful ability to make people laugh. He puts on a wonderful show and his timing for jokes is perfect. Seeing Mr. Rickles in person was great and his stories of some of the past greats he has worked with was both funny and touching. I would recommend this show for a way to unwind and see such a great performer in person. His band was also great and the band leader was the perfect back up man for some of Don's jokes. If I had one complaint it was the River Cree Casino, as the hall is a tent which is pretty pathetic ( I would not go to the place again and walking through the smoke filled casino to get to the tent was gross )....however Don didn't miss a beat and managed to get a laugh by stating how it was for him ( A Jew ) to be performing in a tent.

    DON RICKLES @ EDMONTON

by baffsf on 2010-04-29River Cree Resort & Casino - Edmonton

God Bless Don Rickles! He makes us howl with laughter at ourselves - no matter what nationality you may have in your genes - he will nail you! At 83 he has not lost his touch - way to go Don - and Edmonton wants you back again - as witnessed by standing ovation again - and again - and again! Bravo!!

    Rickles still has it...

by BFI1963 on 2010-04-29River Cree Resort & Casino - Edmonton

Don Rickles is a representative of a bygone era. His act is rude, crude, and in your face politically incorrect...and funnier than hell! Obviously tried and true material. Lots of jabs at the audience members up front, back and forth with his band leader (who is deadpan throughout and all the funnier for it...) a bit of song and dance, and of course plenty of off colour racial humour. Not to everyone's taste, but as he says, if you walk in the door, after having paid your money to see him, and you find his act offensive, well "Fly Ozark Airlines". Take the first letter of each word, and think about it. The show was relatively short, at just about an hour on the mark, but considering the man's age, a surprisingly energetic show from someone who obviously still loves what he's doing. A most enjoyable time. 'The Venue At The River Cree' however is the worst place in town. The owners of the casino should be ashamed of themselves. Build a proper annex to the casino! Rickles made plenty of comments about the low grade quality of the facilities...and hit the nail on the head each time!
