It was an amazing experience. This man was a great strength for me in darker days. Looking around the arena, it was impressive to see the vast array of people from all walks of life in various stages of asking the simple, but not easy questions about improving themselves. The diverse crowd was a testament, not just to just how wide an audience these messages reach, but how hollow and wrong critics ring, twisting Jordan's message to make sure they get clicks on their articles. The set up was good, sight lines were decent and the show's content was uplifting. Very grateful for the opportunity to see the show.
Dr. Peterson is such a profound speaker. The tickets were affordable; any seat was close, and you felt like a part of something bigger than yourself - 10/10 experience.
It was a privilege to hear Dr. Peterson stand up for free speech and call out the Canadian government for it's moves to strip Canadians of their basic freedoms. I salute your courage.
So happy I was able to attend this wonderful lecture by one of Canada's absolute best.
This was a beautiful presentation by Dr. Jordan B Peterson. It was nice to have his son play guitar and sing for us while opening the show. Very genuine people graced us with their words, ideas and perspectives while answering our valued questions.
I went to hear Dr. Peterson talk about Beyond Order: 12 More Rules for Life 2022-2023 Tour but he mostly talked about Exodus, his next project. While I don't doubt that Exodus is interesting, his talk was heavily weighted on this subject and not on his book. I was expecting to hear about the rules of life and to get inspired. I also wasn't aware that we was going to do a Q&A until the show so it wasn't practical to log into an app to submit a question. I also was disappointed that they showed a video about Essay which seemed to be promoting an online essay writing platform. He did mention a few things that were interesting which leaves one with food for thought for days after, but I am not sure I would go again unless it's advertised properly. Thank you.
Jordan Peterson is my hero. Helping so many, especially disaffected young men.
I thought the event was about Jordan Peterson's last book but we barely heard of it. I brought my teenager kids with me so they could learn some of Dr. Peterson's great insights but that didn't happen. We only heard about his family's and his future projects. It was very frustrating and we were very disappointed at the end of the event. I am still a supporter of his work but wouldn't go to another event like this.
Terrific insights on taking responsibility, having courage, and finding wisdom in the words of the ancients from one of the world's most engaging and influential thinkers.
I truly enjoy listening and reading anything this man creates. However, the structure of his show was more suited for a small group for a private session. It seemed very informal. Peterson went off tangents over and over again. It was very difficult to follow his train of thought, and there was no structure to his message. For the price that people paid to see him and the number of people in the audience, it would have been better to have a structured and organized presentation. The most difficult part was definitely Peterson going off tangents with his chaotic thoughts. Unfortunately, if he has another show I would definitely not attend. I’ll stick to reading his books and watching his videos.
Didn't know what to expect. Turned out to be an insightful conversation that made you think, and inspired discussion long after the show ended. At 2 hours, it could have used another 45 minutes given the cost of tickets (honestly, $30 in fees and taxes?), however it was inspiring and worth the opportunity to hear an off-the-cuff discussion you won't find on a youtube video. Great event.
Jordan Peterson show us away to live life in heaven while going through hell
Always watched him on youtube, finally saw him in person, my wife and i loved it
I am a great supporter of Dr Peterson I brought people who were unfamiliar with him and his work. They found the first 40 minutes rambling and boring, as did I Once he sat down and became himself, the presentation was lively and interesting.
Listening to Jordan Peterson was an absolute treat. He’s a brilliant thinker and communicator, yet very humble. He clearly cares deeply for the well being of others, and for the health of our society. He was not afraid to speak truth and challenge the pressures of society that insist on conformity, instead of freedom of thought and open discussion.
Great experience. Fascinating to listen to. Can’t wait for new lectures.
Interesting and engaging. JP always finds a way to have you reflect for a while after listening to him speak.
There is only one current public intellectual in this world that has the capability and courage to fill stadiums and the like with enraptured listeners. That person is Jordan Peterson. Contrary to some negative public opinion, thousands showed up to learn about how to live their lives better in service to their families, their communities, and their country. If he comes back to Ottawa, I will go again, and maybe get a closer seat next time.
Inspiring and motivating in this time of dysfunction in Canadian society.
