Engaged with the audience and answered questions at the end. Brings valuable insight in the most entertaining and engaging way! Would go again to hear him speak!

  • Nothing short of Amazing

by Evan on 2023-05-21Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

Dr. Jordan Peterson is not only informative and intriguing and thoughtful in his lectures, but also entertainingly educative in the way he distributes word after word and gesture after gesture. Not only is it a lecture worth noting, it’s a performance. And it’s most inspiring to see him talk in person.

  • One of the wisest men on this planet

by Soph on 2023-05-21Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

I loved him! The only complaint I have is it wasn’t long enough! Also, I wish more time for Q and A.

  • Great show, met my expectations

by Lmd on 2023-05-21Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 4 out of 5

Show we’ll set up and access / egress easy from the conference center. The show itself delivered on being interesting and informative as per my expectations. Certainly kept the audience interested.

  • So so.

by Canadian Deplorable on 2023-05-21Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 3 out of 5

I do like Jordan Peterson a lot. The show I found rather draining because it took almost the whole before he “got into it”. I was hoping for more of his life lessons. I could use a few.

  • Intriguing, interesting and good message

by Mash on 2023-05-21Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

The event with DR J Peterson was very worthwhile. There were topics of philosophy, science, ethics, personal goals and aims that made a lot of sense to me. I would recommend to see him even if you do not agree with him. I think there is something to learn and question, either for yourself or for the better part of humanity and where we are going. Thank you for coming Dr J Peterson

  • Great experience

    by K on 2023-05-21Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

I love Dr.Peterson’s lectures and videos online and had to go see him in-person in Abbotsford. He didn’t disappoint. He was the same thoughtful and insightful speaker I had seen in his videos. He took his time with words and even if he talked about a topic he’s already spoken of (which I’ve seen online), he says it in a refreshed way and the words don’t leave his mouth routined and practiced. He makes his points with conviction and enthusiasm like it’s his first time sharing them. I loved he is so cautious on how to begin his talk. It’s because he wants a solid starting point. From there he leads us the audience down a journey where he goes over a number of turns and controlled tangents along the way and always finds a way to tie it all together. In Abbotsford it was the theme of “Dreaming” and “Having a vision” that he tied together beautifully by the end. Very glad I went to see him in-person. One of the best decisions I’ve made.

  • Amazing. He is such a good speaker.

by LP on 2023-05-21Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

The opening act, the solo guitariat, was incredibly talented. Tammy, his wife, was a delightful surprise as I didnt know she was talking. She's a smart woman too! Jordan has a way of walking you thorugh a concept from beginning to end that holds your attention and leaves you feeling wiser them before you heard him. Would definitely watch him again.

  • Loved the talk, not the venue

    by Kim D on 2023-05-21Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 4 out of 5

It’s great that Dr. Peterson can fill a stadium, but I would have preferred to see him in a more intimate setting. It was set up like a TED talk or a university lecture, with two side screens for projection to the further audience. Dr. Peterson paces back and forth, sharing his thoughts on various topics and it does not feel scripted. He does a short Q&A afterwards with his wife. I would have liked sitting a lot closer. The crowd was mixed, with people in their 20’s to 80’s around me, which was nice to see. Unfortunately, some folks treated it like a music concert/sports game and there was a constant milling about with people coming in and out with popcorn snd drinks during the talk. I found this distracting and disrespectful to the speaker. I had to get up from my seat at least four times to let people in and out of our row during the talk. Perhaps the content was too intellectual. I wonder if this was also happening in the city. There’s a difference with getting up from your seat in the Orpheum during a performance, versus the Abbotsford stadium with fast food all around. Dr. Peterson’s talk and question session was about two hours in length. I did come away from the evening with fresh thoughts about making change in my life and I was glad I attended.

  • Excellent talk.

by George Gregory on 2023-05-21Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was packed, a mix of men and women with plenty of young people. It’s easy to see why Peterson appeals; he speaks against the egocentric victim culture that soaks through so much of our corporate and educational institutions. People (some, at least) understand that taking responsibility for their outcomes is the only way to mental health. Good for him! I was encouraged to see the event so we’ll attended.

  • A guiding light

by Jess on 2023-05-21Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

Jordan could have used any issue currently happening in Canada, including government corruption/scandals, destruction of the economy, government overreach including mandates and overriding parental rights, government overspending and the resulting inflation, pushing gender ideology on kids, unscientific lockdowns/restrictions, WEF influence on Canada, etc etc and been well received for discussing those issues....but chose instead to focus on personal responsibility, ethics, aiming up, and civic duty-which helped give hope to people that things will be ok if we ourselves get involved in improving ourselves and this country. For 6000 people to attend what was essentially a university type lecture on a thurs night before a hot long weekend, it tells you people are hungry for change in this country and arent impressed with whats currently going on. People are looking for direction, leadership, and hope as its not currently being offered by the "leadership" in this country. Loved Jordan Peterson and that he treats people like adults and with respect. Wish he was running the country instead of the airhead that currently is (running it into the ground). Thanks Jordan!

The event was great but the venue is not. The seats are uncomfortable for long events. The traffic flow needs a make over.
