    Brandy Amazing. Dwight Disappointed.

by Lotsafun on 2018-03-11Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Brandy Clark was fantastic with her awesome voice and even better songwriting. Dwight didn't sing most of hit hits. Too many obscure unknown songs. We left early.

The music went nonstop for an hour and a half, don’t know how they kept up the pace!

    Dwight Yoakam was amazing!

by Capricorn55 on 2018-03-11Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Dwight and his band rocked the Jube on March 8th! For a country music superstar, he's very laid back and down to earth. To everyone in the audience who was talking and checking their phones during the perfornance, shame on you! You were in an auditorium listening to great music, so you should have behaved like civilized concert goers, not drunk bar patrons. Keep this in mind the next time you buy concert tickets, and consider your fellow audience members as well.

    Sound was awful

by NicoleFromCalgary on 2018-03-11Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

I absolutely love Dwight. He and the band were tremendous however there was a serious sound problem. Kept hearing a high pitched tone and it was drowning out his voice. Ended up leaving early.

    Could have been great

by KarLdraWs on 2018-03-11Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Very disappointing because the jubilee usually has the best sound. But they must have skipped the sound check. Lots of feedback and screeches. But Dwight had great energy and great music.

Dwight Yoakam puts on a great show!

by Frostback on 2018-03-11Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Not a dull moment in this show. Dwight had a bunch of hits and he played them all. He had a great band with some very talented musicians. Our one and only disappiontment was the reoccuring feedback on his mike and his acoustic guitar was all high end and no bottom end to balance the sound. Not sure why the sound guy couldn't fix this but it was off putting therefore the four stars, Having said that, Dwight is a great talent you shouldn't miss.

The show was good. Too bad he's getting over some illness but he did a good job to keep up the performance. I've seen Dwight at the Jubillee before, and a few years ago in Reno. This time was just not as good as time previous... My main complaint was the way his guitar and vocals were set up on the sound. I found the guitar to be annoyingly metallic and the vocals seem muffled and muddy.

Sweet, sweet sound of Dwight Yoakam!!

by Highlandshortie on 2018-03-11Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

I was very impressed with Brandy Clark, I had never heard of her music before but I can definitely say I’m now a fan. As for Dwight he was phenomenal! I have been waiting for the chance to see him for a very long time. If I’d know about his concert sooner I would definitely have bought better tickets (sold out), His voice is still pitch perfect and he can still do his moves! Cant wait to see him again!

    Terrible Sound Mix

by DJBD on 2018-03-11Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The sound mix was probably the worst I’ve heard. Dwights vocals were so muddy you could barely understand him. His guitar was so dominate in the mix that it overpowered everything else.

    Dwight Yoakam with Brandy Clark

by BunnyT on 2018-03-09Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Dwight put on a fantastic show. At times, his music was too loud and drowned out his voice, but then he would play a song that was quieter and you could hear his excellent singing. He performed for two hours. So worth going to see. I was sad that he cancelled his meet and greet but thought we might have been given a memento of some sort for purchasing a more expensive ticket.

He still has his classic moves...don't find he has a lot of stage presence..his voice is still strong and clear. Didn't sing my favorite..A little thing called love.. Loved he didn't have a lot of time between songs..just kind of flowed into the next. Wished somewhere along the way he would have at least raised his hat once so we could see his face. Was very surprised there was no merchandise selling there at all.

    Dwight was loud loud,loud !!!!

by snooks2053 on 2018-03-09Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Brandy Clark was excellent. You could hear her as the words she was singing and then came the blast when Mr.Yoakum started to play.I managed to sit through the first song hoping the volume was for the entrance .Nope it continued. And so I had to leave the hall. My husband ,who wears hearing aides removed them, and watch the concert for an extra 45 minuets before he had to leave. I sat in the lobby watched the show on T.V and had nice chats with all the people who were leaving because they couldn't hear the music through the noise. But I will be purchasing Miss Brandy Clarks music.

Dwight and band were terrific! Brandy too!

by garrye on 2018-03-08Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Dwight and band were terrific and played over 2 hours without missing a beat. Dwight was in great voice and his lead guitarist (Edwards?) was outstanding. Brandy Clark was also terrific---a great songwriter and performer with 'sass', and a great complementary opening act.

    Brandy and Dwight

by mamanick on 2018-03-08Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

good crowd...2500 fans.Brandy sang at least 10 songs, good voice, reminded me of Terri Clark.Dwight came on, his back-up crew nor bad,bit of a showboat guitar player to his left.Volume on the instruments too high, too tinny,to much feedback, lots of times the music drowned out the vocals.Muttering vocals,
