Even though the boys aren't winning right now, they still gave it all to their loving fans! Go Oil!!!
enioyed the show but was disappointed when we were told we couldn't sit in certain areas by arena staff...leaving us with crap seats when we easily could have sat on the empty half of the rink with great views......
Great time! Lots of fun! A must see! Everyone should take it in!
First off all the good seating (lower bowl) was for Oiler family and friends only. They only had 3 sections open for the rest of the fans. Packed them all in. Then the contests/prizes were only given away in the lower bowl. (To the family and friends). Guess they don't care about the true fans who actually paid to go. Shame on you Oilers
It was a lot of fun, exciting to see? The atmosphere was great
The skills competition was fun, engaging, interesting, the cheerleaders were great!! The minor hockey teams that played were really good. It would be nice if the distribution of giveaways was not limited to the fist couple of rows of the botton sections. It was great value for the money.
This was my first time at the skills comp. and it was a lot of fun. my children who are 6 and 8 years old loved it too! can't wait for next year
I would recommend this event to any Oiler fan no matter how die hard you are. It's a great time where fans and players can relax and have some good laughs while still appreciating how fast, skilled, and talented these players are.
It was a great event for families and true hockey fans! Seeing the Oilers and the fun they were having was a great personal experience. Nice to be able to give to the fans in events like this. YAY OILERS!!
lots of fun! had a gr8 time!!! We attend this event every year for the past 5 years
This is an excellent way to expose your kids to the Oilers and Rexall place if you cannot afford to take them to an actual game! The kids really loved it. I think they may have enjoyed it more then an actual game. They are already talking about going back next year!
We come up for this event every year. We enjoy it so much! We feel you get to know the players a little bit better because of the relaxed atmosphere. It's great to watch the Oilers skating with the kids team. I'm sure for some of those kids, it's a very special moment that they will remember always. It's great to watch the Oilers players having some fun & spending qualitiy time with each other, the kids, & the fans.
My kids would never miss this event. For families and oilers fans of all ages it's an affordable way to get close to their heroes and see them in action. It's truly giving back to the fans!
I've been going to the Oilers Skills Competitions for the last 5 years and it's always a fun afternoon. My favorite skills are hardest shot and fastest skater. It's a great time for only $10 a ticket.
Great entertainment for young and old. Even though the Oilers season hasn't been great there was still a lot of positive energy in the air.
It was a very good event. We got to know the players a lot better - they seemed more down to earth and were having fun with each other.
This year's skill competition was so much fun. We went last year as well, but this year it seemed like it was a lot more light-hearted. The players were so happy and there were some amazing skills shown off. Definitely going again next year.
As usual the Skills Competition was fun to watch and gave us all a chance to see the 'other side' of the players as they joked with each other.
everything was what i expected but not sure why i had to watch a team of peewee kids participate too, this made me want to leave.
It was my first time at the Skill Competition. It was very entertaining for the whole family. We will be going again next year. The competition was fun. My daughter really like it when the little kids did their part. My only complaint was that when we were waiting to get in they only opened two doors for thousands of people to go through. It could have been alittle better organized!! Next year we'll just leave home earlier!!
