Edwin McCain is a singer-songwriter hailing from Charleston, South Carolina. In 1997, the alternative rock artist released his breakthrough hit “I’ll Be” off his sophomore album Misguided Roses. The song peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the album charted on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum.. In 1999, the singer scored another Top 40 hit with the Diane Warren-penned “I Could Not Ask For More,” which was included on the soundtrack for the 1999 film Message in a Bottle starring Kevin Costner, Robin Wright, and Paul Newman. McCain is often closely associated with close friends and frequent tourmates Hootie & the Blowfish.

    After waiting over 6 years for Edwin to come close enough for us to see him again, we could not have been happier with his performance. We only wish the concert would have been longer as we would have been happy to stay all night and listen to his amazing songs and touching and entertaining stories. He is tops in our book and we just can't wait for him to come back.

    This was our first time seeing a concert at the Bears Den and we were plesently surprised. What a intimate venue ! We were in the back row and still felt like we had great seats, 10 rows back at the most. Sound was incredible, clear powerful and dynamic. Edwin was phenomenal ! Great seection of songs, excellent wth the crowd, great storey teller, funny, and what a voice and guitar player. Very impressive ! We walked out of there completely satisfied. Only complaint was it was not long enough, we could have listened to a couple more of our favorites even after two encores. All in all a very enjoyable evening. Thanks Edwin and thanks Seneca Niagara Casino !
