About

Las Vegas post-hardcore marauders Escape the Fate have been stomping and screaming their impassioned brand of melodic brutalism since 2005. Through it all, the unwavering self-belief of the band -- especially frontman Craig Mabbit -- has earned them a tight connection with their fans. "Ungrateful," released in 2013, debuted confidently at No. 2 on the Billboard Hard Rock charts. Escape the Fate has brought their high-energy concert experience to a long list of rock festival ticket buyers across the Western hemisphere. Their juggernaut live performances pour energy into the crowd with wall-of-death mosh pits, and Craig Mabbit’s "stay true to yourself" therapy sessions. Switching between exhortations to go mad in the pits and denying any limitations on personal growth, Escape the Fate are an undeniable tour draw whether head-lining or supporting.

Escape the Fate formed in Pahrump, Nevada. A demo and a radio contest judged by My Chemical Romance led to a support slot with Alkaline Trio and a record deal with Epitaph. Their debut album "Dying is Your Latest Fashion" made its way into the top 20 of Billboard’s Heatseaker and Top Independent Albums charts. With the departure of lead singer Ronnie Radk, Craig Mabbit would preside over the many comings and goings of bassist Max Green and the struggles to find a record company that would appreciate their vision. Their 2010 self-titled album caught the band at their most stable and diverse, and 2014 will bring a tour with Ronnie Radke’s band, Falling in Reverse. "Ungrateful," tighter and less diverse than their self-titled major label debut, features a collaboration with Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy and a video that tackles the issue of bullying and violence. As hatchets are buried and things settling down, the future looks bright for Escape the Fate.

It was an absolutely amazing show, too bad that two of the opening acts couldn't get across the border, but Alesana (who I usually don't REALLY like) and Get Scared were amazing ! Then, when Escape The Fate got out on stage, it was the most epic feeling EVER! They put on an amazing show, sure they focused on songs off their new CD most predominantly, but that was still awesome because they're new stuff is amazing too! Definitely one of the best times I've ever had, hands down ! ♥

escape the fate themselves put on a great show on valentines day, although i do have some minor complaints about the show. their opening acts (alesana and get scared) we're extremely long - they both played many songs and escape the fate wasn't on stage until almost 9:30. the venue is a tad sketchy, but does have decent security. i found they focused a lot on their new album and didn't play enough old favourites.

Awesome! I'd never been to the Phoenix in toronto before but I liked it a lot. good setup for it's size. I had a lot of fun even though my ears are still ringing 2 days later. Hope it goes away. :s
