Great Show!
by Mike on 2024-09-10Casino Rama Resort - RamaRating: 5 out of 5All 3 acts sounded excellent. We had a lot of fun. A nice touch from Everclear to add the choir from Guelph to their performance.

Everclear are one of the defining alt-rock bands of the ’90s. Since forming in 1992, the Grammy-nominated band has released 11 studio albums and sold over six million records worldwide — including their breakthrough album and major-label debut, 1995’s platinum-selling Sparkle and Fade, which included the popular single “Santa Monica.” Led by frontman and Los Angeles native Art Alexakis, Everclear toured rigorously throughout the ’90s and 2000s, producing hook-laden singles such as “Father of Mine,” “I Will Buy You a New Life,” “Everything to Everyone” and “Wonderful,” which peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2022, Everclear celebrated their 30th anniversary by reissuing their debut album World of Noise (1993) and embarking on a North American tour where they recorded a new live album, Live At The Whisky A Go Go. Everclear have also toured with bands such as the Stone Temple Pilots, Marcy Playground, Matchbox Twenty and Gin Blossoms.

All 3 acts sounded excellent. We had a lot of fun. A nice touch from Everclear to add the choir from Guelph to their performance.
Bands were good. Sound system was very bad for Rama. Shocking how bad the microphones were.
Both of these bands were amazing!!! Brilliant sound, amazing harmonies and the perfect venue. They gave us an evening of professionals gifting us with their trade… LOVED it SO much!!
I love this band! One of my all time favourites and so I was super excited to see them performing. Unfortunately the sound quality was so poor at times that the lyrics were inaudible. Looking forward to a do over very soon - I will never miss an opportunity to see Everclear live.
Both Everclear and Sister Hazel had terrible sound. I’d like to blame it on the venue but I’ve been many times to bands that sounded amazing. I would give it a 6/10. Art made good conversation but the music was generally louder than his voice and made it hard to hear what he was singing.
I have been to almost every Calgary show! This is my favourite band to see live! They do not disappoint!!!!
I was excited to see my two favourite bands in concert. We had a great seats and the location was great. During the show we noticed that the sound was so high that it was hard to hear the vocals. There was also a couple times the lead singer for ever clear had to ask that the lights be on at the start of each song. The sound of the guitars and drums should not have over powered the artists vocals. Very disappointed and would not see a concert at the grey eagle again.
Seen them many times and this was the best setlist they’ve ever played. Great energy from the crowd. Hope they come back soon!
Sister Hazel I seemed was very short (30mins) The sound was terrible, I was very disappointed in this concert. Prolly won’t be back for another concert at this venue again.
Great set list, wicked show, Marcy playground was great too. We got pictures with the band and Autographs, I got a t-shirt signed and a guitar pick. Was one of my favourite concerts I've been to.
