  • Buckingham Unbelievable

by LIttleCorn on 2009-07-14Credit Union Centre - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

I grew up with Fleetwood Mac and Rumours by far one of the classics. I have always loved Stevie Nicks and she did not disappoint me. I was most surprised at how talented Buckingham was. and what great shape he is still in!

  • Fleetwwood Mac Memorable

Lots of unforgettable tunes played, in fact - most of my favorites! They played for 2 1/2 hours straight, no breaks, and no back up band. We came to see Fleetwood Mac, and that's what we saw. Stevie Nicks is just as beautiful as she was back in the 70's. And as for Lindsay - still hot! Stevie shared that she was just a young girl still in school when she actually saw the incomparable Jimmy Hendrix and Janis Joplin. They opened for Janis I believe. Can you imagine? To be in the same era as those two icons. Fleetwood Mac's music is timeless. I would have liked to have seen Christie McVie - but that was not to be, too bad - she was an integral part of the whole band. Although they have been thru alot of emotional turmoil, they came together for the fans, and that's what makes or breaks a band. Good for you Fleetwood Mac!! I would see them again and again.

  • Once in MY lifetime opportunity!

    by Kay31 on 2009-07-14Credit Union Centre - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

I am 21 years old, and this was the best concert I have ever been to (based on a purely musical basis). They didn't need pyro and all the extra's because they know how to entertain. That can't be beat.

The concert was a gem once again.Mick Fleetwood was so enertaining, the drum solo, the interaction with the crowd. The red shoes were a nice touch.Mr.Buckingham did not miss a beat, clean and crisp vocals ,the guitar riffs. What can you say about Stevie Nicks that has not been said before. She is the true goddess of rock n roll. Her singing and natural beauty is timeless. In ending,It is nice to see a classic band on tour, really enjoying them selves on stage, that is not promoting an album .This tour to me was not about topping up the retirement funds. It was all about the music., Spending time after the encours to hang with the fans,Priceless .I give them 51/5 stars.Cheers Bob T ,The Beaver Man.

  • Fleetwood Mac was amazing!

by Pussycat on 2009-07-14MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

This concert was absolutely a once in a life time deal for me. Lindsey Buckingham did not disappoint, that guy is truly the best guitar player of all time. Stevie Nicks has not aged a bit, she is gorgeous. The drum solo was out of this world and they as a group made my night. Christie McVie's absence was definitely missed and it is unfortunate that she did not do the tour.

by zorro on 2009-07-14MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Was worth the $200 ticket. I felt they wanted to be there to entertain the crowd. I am a big Lindsay Buckingham fan and he alone was worth seeing. I don't think it would have made much differnce if Christy McVie was ther or not. Highly recomend you see this group before they hit the stone tablet...

  • Fleetwood Mac - sensory overload!

by LoanRanger on 2009-07-14Credit Union Centre - SaskatoonRating: 3 out of 5

I must be getting old!! Man, it was loud! Band was tight and Lindsay Buckingham is amazing on guitar. Volume was too much for me, though.

Fleetwood Mac was absolutely awesome from start to finish. We had awesome seats and could have almost touched Stevie Nicks from where were sitting. Age has only improved them.

An outstanding show. Everyone in the band put on a great performance, especially considering the number of years they've been in the business.

Really great show. Nicks was a little off and the ticket prices were too high but overall a great show.

  • Fleetwood rocked my world!

This concert was excellent. I have loved this band since I was a child and to see them live was so awesome. I would recommend this concert to anyone who enjoys their music.

  • Fleetwood Mac entertained!

by daxsmom on 2009-07-14MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Having seen the band the last time they were in town, I was not disappointed. This band always entertains and wouldn't be around this long if they didn't. Christine Macvie was noticably missed but the show was still good. Stevie Nicks seemed to be tired and forgetful but Lindsay Buckingham picked up the slack. His version of Looking Out For Love was amazing!!

  • Fleetwood Mac was awesome

by Rooners on 2009-07-14Credit Union Centre - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

I originally purchased tickets for Edmonton, but once we were there, they announced it was postponed. Thank goodness I had tickets for Saskatoon as well. I could hardly wait to see the concert, and now I had to wait another three weeks to go to Saskatoon. The concert was awesome, I took over 100 pictures. For the average age of the band being 60+ you would never know it, lots of energy, although Stevie did appear to be somewhat tired, nevertheless, it was great. It was a concert I have waited over 30 years to see having grown up listening to their records!! in my teens. It was worth the wait.

  • First Class show

by Blackcar on 2009-07-14Credit Union Centre - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

Could not have enjoyed the show anymore. Lindsey's guitar playing is amazing. The band played well, vocals were awsome. I hope I get another chance to see them Thanks

  • Fleetwood Mac 2009

by Weebles on 2009-07-14Credit Union Centre - SaskatoonRating: 3 out of 5

Choosing seats on the floor was a mistake, view was poor obviously unless you stood. I just wanted to experience a concert on the floor for the first time. It will be my last time. Musically, concert was very good, not as memorable as the Eagles, but wasn't expecting that. Its too bad Christine McVie wasn't there as well, her vocals would have added a lot to the show. Lindsey Buckingham is an amazing guitarist, so much energy & passion for his craft!
