Fleetwood Mac was awesome in concert!! Best concert I've been to in awhile.. and I've been to a lot! They played all there best hits and really rocked the place! They had so much presence and really connected with the audience. Like I said... best concert ever!
It was unfortunate that Stevie had been ill. The concert date just before Vancouver had been cancelled as a result of this. Her voice was just not there and the energy was seriously lacking. I enjoyed listening to all of their hits, but was disappointed overall.
very nice no lip sink and i wish they would comeback soon. great value to this concert
I think they are better than they ever were. Far outplayed my expectations.
I have been to quite a few concerts in the last few years and Fleetwood Mac rates as one of the very best. They have lost nothing over the years. I only wish Christine had been with them.
For the most part it was good. It was great to see them live. Way too much Lindsay Buckingham. Guitar solo after guitar solo was very irritating and made the show at times unbearable. Stevie Nicks is the star of the band and I would have enjoyed more of her. They should have given her a set in the show. Lindsay got one why didn't she. I think most in attendance came to see and hear her.
The show was great and the band sounded fantastic. As well, the band played all of their hit songs. I originally bought tickets to see Fleetwood Mac when they were last in town in the 1990s, when unfortunately the show was cancelled. However, I can say that it was definitely worth waiting to see, as the show was great!
Let me first say that this was the single most expensive concert we have ever attended, and worth every penny - not that we are in the snack bracket to pay this much for every concert, but we figured that we would likely never have this opportunity again. I am rather partial to the Christine McVee (sp?) songs as well, so that would be my only disappointment, but she was never set to be part of the tour, so we knew that. Stevie Nicks was amazing despite the fact that she had not been well, and Lindsay Buckingham was over the top. All in all it tops my top 5 concert list!
This show was so great! Stevie was sick for the shows preceeding this one, but you couldn't tell at all! She still hit all the notes and rocked out so hard! I can't believe how beautiful she is, she is captivating! Lindsay Buckingham was also wonderful! He was so interactive with the crowd, it was so cool. For a band that is in their 60's, the rock harder than any 20something I've ever seen! So yeah, I could go on forever, but really you should just go to their show if you get the chance!!!
I was looking forward to this show for a long time and they didn't disappoint! We had amazing seats and the crowd was great too. No security at the door though, so lots of weed!!!! ;-P
It was one of the most amazing concerts I have ever seen. Brought my parents along with me and my Mom still hasn't stopped talking about it and it's been over 2 months already. Great show to see!
The concert was excellent! I would have enjoyed it more if I didn't have such a bad cold. I made the best of it! Would I see them/her again.....absolutely!!!!
I came to this concert, expecting that Fleetwood Mac would be old and geriatric. After all, they're in their sixties. Well, I was so wrong. They were soooo great. They rocked the night away, playing 26 of their greatest songs and not holding back for one of them. Buckingham amazed me - I never realized what a fantastic guitarist he is. All of his publicity has always been controversy with S.N. Mac Fleetwood was an absolute riot to watch. OMG he can play the drums - better than anyone I have ever seen or heard before. It was his facial expressions that made me burst out laughing throughout the concert. He is seriously weird, in a good way :-) I would recommend to EVERYONE to see Fleetwood Mac. You will not regret it!!!
I'd never been fortunate enough to have seen this incarnation of Fleetwood Mac live, it was way back in the Peter Green days that I last saw them. I was really pleased to hear them do "Oh Well" from that era. I throughly enjoyed the songs that they did. The sound on "Gypsy" was not good, a lot of distortion where I was in the areana I would definately pay to see them again
My expectations of the Fleetwood Mac hits tour 2009 was surpassed . It was an enjoyable evening for my Wife and I. After all these years they were able to put on an existing consert for all ages. Hopefully Fleetwood Mac will continue on and create new music in the future. They were great
I was amazed that Lindsay still could play so well and did do justice to "Go your own way". Missed not having Christine M. with the group. Closing number "Silver Spring" was first class!
We throughly enjoyed the show, but would not recommend anyone buying the $200 + tickets to "sit" on the floor. Once one person stands everybody has to stand to get a glimpse of the stage and performers, I think we would have seen just as much if not more by having the cheaper bowl seats. Otherwise a great performance !
It was a great atmosphere. The people were pumped. The band sounded fine, however the stage was boring and difficult to see. The stage should be higher and for the price, a much more elaborate show is required. I have seen many reunion tours and this by far was the least interesting with the show and sound.
sight lines were good, however the sound seemed to resonate with too much high pitch at times making it difficult to understand some of the singing. It would have been nice to have had Christine McVie sing with the band, I saw them all together in 1987 which was great unfortunately this wasnt the case this time. Good to see the remaining members belt out some of the great oldies anyways. Doubt I will see them again so it was nice to catch up again before their truly gone
