About

With 10 multi-platinum albums and 16 Top 30 hits, FOREIGNER is universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world with a formidable musical arsenal that continues to propel sold-out tours and album sales, now exceeding 80 million.

Responsible for some of rock and roll's most enduring anthems including "Juke Box Hero," "Cold As Ice," "Hot Blooded," "Waiting For A Girl Like You," "Feels Like The First Time," "Urgent," "Head Games," "Say You Will," "Dirty White Boy," "Long, Long Way From Home" and the worldwide #1 hit, "I Want To Know What Love Is," FOREIGNER still rocks the charts more than 40 years into the game with massive airplay and continued Billboard Top 200 album success. Audio and video streams of FOREIGNER's hits are approaching 15 million per week.

With more Top 10 songs than Journey and as many as Fleetwood Mac, FOREIGNER also features strongly in every category in Billboard's "Greatest of All Time" listing. At times, the band's weekly catalog sales have eclipsed those of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Aerosmith, and most of their Classic Rock peers (Source:MusiConnect). FOREIGNER's catalog sales were recently celebrated in Business Insider as hitting the Top 40 among the Best Selling Music Artists of All Time.

FOREIGNER's founder is Songwriters Hall of Fame member Mick Jones, a visionary maestro whose stylistic songwriting, indelible guitar hooks, and multi-layered talents continue to escalate FOREIGNER's influence and guide the band to new horizons. Jones reformed the band after a 2002 hiatus and selected lead singer Kelly Hansen to help write an inspired new chapter in the history of FOREIGNER. One of rock's greatest showmen, Hansen is among the most respected, consummate professionals in rock and roll. With a 40-year career that spans almost every area of music, from the role of lead vocalist to producing and engineering, Hansen has led FOREIGNER into the digital age while inspiring a whole new generation of fans.

FOREIGNER's lineup also includes noted Dokken bassist Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein on keyboards, guitarist Bruce Watson, Chris Frazier on drums and guitarist Luis Carlos Maldonado. An unprecedented new level of energy led the group to a re-emergence of astounding music that speaks to FOREIGNER's enduring popularity.

FOREIGNER recently announced the beginning of their Farewell Tour on national television. The tour will commence on July 6th, 2023 in Atlanta, GA and is expected to take two years or so to complete. The goal is to visit all the cities where the band has played since its reformation in 2004.

  • Foreigner - The Evolution Continues

    by LinKGH55 on 2025-11-28Scotiabank Centre - HalifaxRating: 5 out of 5

I had the pleasure of seeing the band in the mid-80s during their Juke Box Hero Tour with Lou Gramm singing lead and I loved Kelly's voice, when he replaced Lou, but never had the pleasure of seeing him Live. Fast forward to the latest incarnation of the band, we went to the concert with no expectations beyond hearing and singing along to pretty much every song. Luis was a very pleasant surprise and aside from being musically talented as a multi-instrumentalist........ what a set of pipes...... Wow!!! The band was on fire to say the least and had the crowd from the down beat until the show sadly had to end. Money well spent and for anyone who thinks that they are a cover band....Wrong.... they are the next evolution of Foreigner!! I will happily get tickets to see them again.

  • Wow! They still rock!

We bought our tickets before we knew about Kelly leaving the band. We were sceptical about what we were going to experience. We were blown away with Luis’ vocals and stage performance. The guy can sing and put on a show. The band sounded amazing and it was so nice to see a band seem to enjoy what they were doing. Members have come and gone which will happen after 50 years, but the music lives on and the boys put on a show that was a pleasure to experience.

  • An amazing concert!

It's hard to believe Foreigner was formed 50 years ago. You would never know it, given how they rocked the stage putting on a high energy show that demonstrated their chemistry, joy, and talent as musicians. The charismatic lead singer delivered! What a spectacular performance! His powerful vocals perfectly showcased Foreigner's amazing catalogue of hits!

  • Awesome Concert

This was an awesome concert. Was skeptical at first knowing the lead singer was not the original...but he was amazing! It was nice to see some of the original members. The venue was smaller, being on the floor made it feel like they were playing just for us. Was better than the larger stadiums. Would have liked for them to play longer! Still...great job!

We had a fantastic time! We enjoyed our front seats for a majority of the concert 🎶. I am handicapped & this another reason I choose front row seats, besides being up close & personal! Sadly people started to stand in front, while also being physically challenged, I am short in stature, which makes be unable to see things in front without being blocked by those that really don’t care about others around them!! Even while using my cane to stand up. That’s why I spent on extra expensive tickets 🎫 to be able to clearly see! So I didn’t have that challenge! Also I was charged $10 cash demanded as we drove in, even though, to park, I have a handicapped parking sign??? We were clearly told, handicapped parking was free!! This was clearly stated on one of your emails??!! I truly believe they were pocketing the cash!!!! The bands were absolutely fantastic and we enjoyed a great time! It is always great to see your favourite bands play & sing 🎤 🎵 our favourite songs!!! Can’t wait to go again, but now knowing the obstacles. Arena is really, really difficult 😣 for anyone physically struggling. Love the much more intimate experience for sure!! Also there was a SUPER RUDE security woman, she was at the “bottom “ of the stairs, instead of the top, which would have saved me going all the way down with my cane!! To be told even though I was on the floor in the front row, I had to go all the way back up & all the way back across to the back and down once again!!! This MUST be corrected & considered!! Having to overcome difficulties wherever I go, I am expecting this type of treatment, but wish it was not so!!! LOVE hearing & seeing my favourite bands; Foreigner & 54-40 were FANTASTIC!!! :) :)

  • A great show!

Foreigner really knows how to put on a show. Every big hit was played; they were entertaining to watch and it seemed everyone was having a great time dancing and signing along. The venue inside was great however parking was nightmare :(

  • Foreigner was off the charts

by Smash on 2025-11-09WinSport Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Foreigner was an excellent show. They rocked the house as I was hoping they would. 54-40 was really good as well. As for the venue, I won't be getting floor seats here again. It was more comfortable to stand the whole concert rather than sit on the lap of the person beside me. No leg room , seats were extremely uncomfortable, and WAY TOO CLOSE TOGETHER.

  • Great music and a fun filled evening

by Jennifer P. on 2025-11-09WinSport Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

I purchased floor tickets a couple of weeks before the show. I had a great evening with my sisters, listening to old music from our teenage years to our early 20s, the opening act 54–40 was great, the current lead singer of Foreigner reminded me of Steve Perry from Journey. Awesome vocals. The only drawback to the entire evening was the stage was too low so everyone on the floor who had tickets unless you were in the first row couldn’t really see the band members on stage. All you saw was the top of everyone’s head in front of you. So for anyone having a show at WinSport Arena, take into account that your stage needs to be higher than the actual seats on the floor. The only other issues at the venue was that they only two places to purchase alcohol and the lineups were 30 minutes long, And all the vinyl records were sold out before we can get to the line and buy them. 54–40 and Foreigner put on an awesome show. I have zero complaints about their performances.

  • Great show

54-40 and Foreigner put on a banger of a show. 54-40 is always so much fun. Between these two bands it was hit after hit after hit. So good.
