The original Jersey boy himself, Frankie Valli is a true American legend. His incredible career with the Four Seasons, as well as his solo success, has spawned countless hit singles. With unforgettable tunes like "Sherry," "Walk Like A Man," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Rag Doll," "December '63 - Oh What A Night," "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You," and of course, "Grease." His songs have been omnipresent in other iconic movies such as The Deer Hunter, Dirty Dancing, Mrs. Doubtfire, Conspiracy Theory and The Wanderers. As many as 200 artists have done cover versions of Frankie's "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," from Nancy Wilson's jazz treatment to Lauryn Hill's hip-hop makeover. Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons have sold over 100 million records worldwide. They continue to tour throughout the U.S. and abroad to packed houses receiving nightly standing ovations from thrilled fans of multiple generations.
Valli's long-lasting career has led to the overwhelming success of the Broadway musical JERSEY BOYS, which chronicles Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons incredible career and features all of their greatest hits. The JERSEY BOYS juggernaut has now been seen by over 18 million people worldwide and has won 4 Tony Awards including Best Musical (2006). Thank you Frankie and the Four Seasons for a great evening. We had lots of fun!
People go to concerts to hear them live not their recordings played back to them over a speaker. We can do that at home. The back up singer and band were doing their best but when your lead singers lips stay in one line and doesn’t change even if Bs or ps are said … it pretty obvious. And shouldn’t there be changes in the lifting and settling of the chest cavity due to breathing to sing heartfelt moments. Why show his face on the big screen?? It made it more obvious…. Was probably great before pandemic but should of not come back. Kudos to his band and singers for extra effort! I left early… couldn’t bear it after awhile…. Just felt sorry for him.
I love Frankie Valli, and his contribution to music is significant. Despite that, this show was a complete disappointment. The lip sincing was painfully obvious. We paid a lot of money to watch a live show, and this did not deliver. I preferred Jersey Boys which showcased talented artists recreating his music.
Frankie's getting on in years, but he's still one heck of a performer, just like he always was. You could see the years disappear once he started his performance - he truly loves doing these shows and dotes on his fans, posing for their picture taking while on stage.. and the famous Frankie Valli vocals sounded like they had in the 60s. He hasn't missed a beat. I'll keep going to his shows as long as he's still performing. Go, Frankie! We loved your performance! ( I hope you come to the Pacific Northwest - Victoria - soon! )
Frankie Valli put on a fantastic show and we're so happy we went to see him. He still has it in him to put on a great show. The voice, and the moves.
Frankie put on a great show, amazing performance for someone 83, and added a good dose of humour as well!
We have seen many of Frankie’s shows and I must say this was one of his best shows. The sound, lighting, choreography, etc. was excellent.
This show was amazing, Frankie Valli still has such a great voice !! He sang all the old four seasons songs along with new material and even a quick rap thrown in there. Tulalip Amphitheatre is a great venue, huge stage and good seating. We loved every minute of the show and would see him again in a heartbeat.
Excellent performance and overall atmosphere. Sounds just like he always has.
As a teen I wore out the grooves on my Frankie Valli albums. It was a thrill to see him in person and I was right up close (7th row). I was afraid he might not have a strong voice anymore or leave everything to his back up singers - but HE ROCKED. His unique voice and falsetto are still there and GREAT. His young back up singers and large band were very good as well. If you have a chance to see Frankie, DO NOT HESITATE. I saw Paul McCartney in concert a few years ago and he could not hold a candle to Valli's vocals.
Loved the show! Frankie Valli sounded great, along with the Four Seasons. The Park Theater is exceptional. Easy to get into, no long lines, staff very friendly, seats comfortable. The show started 20 mins late due to late comers which is not fair to those of us that get there on time. To heck with the late comers. A lot of people were getting restless.
Frankie Valli sang all the great Four Seasons hits, the crowd really enjoyed the evening. He puts on a dynamic show, it was good to hear those songs again.
The seats were excellent and the venue incredible. Frankie Valli played all of his hits non-stop
Frankie Valli is one of the few 60's legends who should still be on tour. Frankie is 83 y/o and he is one of the few that still has his voice. Unbelievable pipes on this man. I saw Frankie and the 4 Seasons back in the 70's and he is still able to hit those notes. Frankie is the consummate performer. He gave a great, what appeared to be effortless performance. He had some great back-up singers and his band is top-notch. Keep up the good work Frankie. I look forward to seeing you again when you are in our neck of the woods. May you enjoy good health and many more years of performing for your fans.
Franki still has the tonal quality of one of best Jerseymen around. Still amazing after 50 years of hard work. We welcome you back to Canada anytime my dear Jersey Boy. Have a great tour and hope to see you soon.
The concert was beyond belief. Frankie Valli shows what a true professional is. His show was full of energy and he did not miss a beat. You would not think he has being doing this for close to 60yrs. I would see him again and again.
Frankie Valli, 83 years old and can still sing like He was in His Twenties. You knew every song He sang, from the classics like "Sherry", "Rag Doll","My Eyes Adore You" to "Grease". Even threw in a couple cover songs in there. Simple stage set up, Four Guys dressed in Black Suits with skinny black ties, looking like the original Four Seasons did a great job backing Frankie. The Band was extremely tight and bang on for every moment of the show. Frankie doesn't do much of the moves as He use to (83 years old) but Man! He still got the pipes. Classy Man who gave a classy show.
I've been to many of Frankie Valli's concerts but this one was the best by far. He shows no signs of slowing down Great show!
Had a great time at the Frankie Valli & and the Four Seasons concert up at CasinoRama in Orillia, Ontario. I will confess my friend and I felt like a couple of the younger guys there....there were a lot of elderly with canes and walkers. Franki Valli himself is no spring chicken, but he had a good sense of humor, and gave off that old Italian mobster vibe while performing. The music was great, and I'm a big fan, so I enjoyed it immensely.
This was a great show and he never missed a note. Recommended it to everyone.
