About

Garth Brooks elevated country music to a level of chart-topping dominance in the 1990s that eclipsed Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson and The Beatles. During his unstoppable run in the decade, Brooks introduced arena-rock bravado to country music, and in the process modernized the genre with country-pop classics like the 18-times platinum No Fences (1990). His chart-topping albums have made Brooks the bestselling solo artist in U.S. history (selling over 170 million albums worldwide), and his record-breaking concert tours have cemented him as a touring juggernaut and one of the greatest live entertainers in the U.S. In 2009, Brooks began his five-year Garth at Wynn residency in Las Vegas, which set the stage for the epic career showcase that is Garth Brooks/Plus ONE, his current residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

  • Garth was great

by htcs on 2010-10-06Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

I enjoyed the show for the most part, but he spent too much time singing other artists songs. I would have like Garth to sing more of his hits songs. He should have been wearing his cowboy hat, as that is how we all remember him. Also the concert would have made a bigger splash if he had a band as well. We had trouble watching the show from the balcony, trying to watch the show around others in front.

  • Garth was spectacular!

by Purple21 on 2010-10-06Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

We really enjoyed Garth Brooks. We have seen him several times in concert in the past. This was really different with just him and his guitar. My mom is a Fan of Garth and she loved it as well. If tickets go on sale again, we will definately try to go again.

  • Garth was the best we've seen!

by Schirokstar on 2010-10-05Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

We really didn't know what to expect, but this went totally beyond anything we could've imagined! Just Garth and his guitar. His voice is the purest thing you've ever heard, we could've sat for 4 more hours and listened. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better his wife - Trisha Yearwood comes out and does a duet with him and then a song on her own. Absolutely unforgettable, we will definately try to get tickets again in March.

  • At home with Garth

by EdmontonOct on 2010-10-04Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Garth, a guitar and you. That is how you feel at Garth's performance. The sense of humour, the music, going back in time and remembering the music that influenced you growing up and listening to how it influenced him is amazing. This is how a concert should be performed.

  • Garth Brooks was outstanding!!!

Better than we had ever dreamed! Garth entertained us for over 2 hours. No bells and whistles just 100% Garth in an extremely rare acoustic performance. Very intimate setting. Felt like we were hanging out in his living room. Would definitely go again if i had the opportunity.

This was my first time seeing Garth and it was OK. I wasn't blown away, like I've heard about his shows in the past, but it was entertaining. My husband would have liked less talking, and more singing, as there were several of his favorites that weren't played. I like his songs, but seeing him live didn't make them any better, it would be as good to listen on the radio or see a music video.

  • Unique and unforgettable evening with Garth

by MrJeph on 2010-09-15Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

It would be very difficult to describe this concert. I've been to all kinds of concerts for all kinds of genres, easily pushing 100+ shows. This was one of the most unique concert experiences of my life and definitely one of the very best, most entertaining shows that I have ever seen. Garth takes the audience on a very informal and funny "musical history lesson" and he tours he and his family's favourite musical influences from the 60s through to the 90s.

  • Absolutely Loved Garth!!!!
