Calgary delivered!!! Chuckwagons were in full force and some of the best yet. The excitement of the rodeo was felt by all and the awe and amazement of the midway filled you. I cannot describe in words how incredible and thrilling the grandstand show was. It blew ones mind. From the piano playing while suspended on cables high above the crowd to the extremely talented singing and dancing and finally the explosive fireworks. The fireworks were among the best you will ever see. They went on and on and were truly a treat. I even saw ones the burst into hearts. That was a first. Calgary was definitely trying to thank everyone for making the stampede a success and it was felt. This is a top shelf event. Everyone should go every year. They deliver on your expectations!!

I usually go to the final night of the chucks and grandstand every year. Once again thoroughly enjoyed it - the chucks were thrilling and the Grandstand show was pretty good and fabulous fireworks. Our seats were wonderful this year. Hats off to everyone that worked so hard to make the Stampede a go this year - absolutely unbelievable that it was able to go on. Hard work and dedication achieved this. I will probably be there again next year on the final night enjoying it all.

The chucks were kind of boring. Took a very long time to move on to the next race. But the grandstand show was amazing! I would go again just for the show

We loved the wagon races and also the fireworks display. The Grandstand show was the same old same old as other years. Needs some improvement and change. Our seats were terrible for viewing the grandstand performance. Need larger and more screens in order to see anything.

Best entertainment value ever!! Love the chuckwagon races. It always is exciting. The grandstand show was spectacular. Where else can you get such a variety. The music was incredible, the props and costumes colorful and creative. Love watching people and props come from the sky.

We are attending grand stand show every year. It is always nice to see young Canadians on the stage. Love firework

The grand stand show is the worst in recent history Opera really I can't say it strongly enough it was ridiculous It was an Artistic mess It was like watching a nightmare on stage It was too long Disjointed and In Spite of some moments of joyful dance it was overshadowed by the lack of artistic direction

The evening show at the grandstand is always a favorite event of ours. The combination of both the wagons and the stage show are two favorite events bundled up as one. The grandstand show is top quality family fun.

Wagons were great. Young Canadians portion of Grandstand Show was a little much! Their over-the-top productions and chuckwagon racing DO NOT go well together. Benny and the Jets production was ridiculous-a great chance to leave before the crowd!

I LOVE the chucks, I go every year to either the final or semi-finals.

The chuck wagon races were fantastic, and the evening show was super. It was much better than I had expected. Fireworks were the best we had ever seen.

Chucks were great--as usual. So much fun to bet on the winners. The grandstand rivaled anything we've seen in Vegas--it was so much fun!

The chuckwagons are always a lot of fun. Every seat is a good seat for the chucks. The grandstand show is just as tired as ever with a few exceptions; Destroyer and the Queen cover band were great. The Chinese acrobats were amazing. The Young Canadians were in poor voice, sorry to say to the young, enthusiastic individuals. I felt like I was watching a B version of Glee. My biggest disappointment with the show is....they have been putting on this show for many, many years so you would think they would have figured out how to make it visually interesting for all of the spectators. Many of the numbers were set up to be watched only from the seats at Centre. Take a cue from Cirque; their show is interesting and visually spectacular from every angle. The costumes did not have contrast against the sets so they did not create a striking visual when I'm sure it would have been with more thought to these components. You may think I'm a hater, but I actually Love the Stampede, I am a true Calgarian and always partake in Stampede activities. The grandstand show is somewhat of an embarrassment to me though because it never quite hits it.

No words! Just amazing! An excellent show with all that one can ask for!

I thought it could have started earlier.It was nice to see KISS, what a surprise. the piano player playing from wires was excellent .the young Canadians are always great. Chinese acrobats were good, the barber shop singers poor

A must see for every Calgarian, Canadian and Visitor to Canada

Awesome night, with some of the best and creative performances I've seen. Fireworks for sure stole the show!

Great show to see the Chuckwagon races with the family. The Grandstand show was entertaining but gets a little long after a long day at Stampede waiting for the fireworks.

Totally not what we expected. We have seen spectacular shows in Las Vegas,Santo Domingo, Paris ( Moulin Rouge) . This TransAlta show ranks with the best of these. Even the 10 minute thunderstorm was an interesting add on.

Biggest problem was that the seats we got had very poor accoustics. The PA was not understandable at all. Nothing was understandable during the chuckwagon races!
