Gowan Tickets

Lawrence Gowan is a true entertainer, his concerts have always been full of energy, and he feds off the energy of the audience. This has been concert number 5 for Gowan, and I can safely say this was the best one yet. Hope to see him at my concert number 6.

Wow - what a show! Hard to believe that Gowan is 65 years old - his voice still sounds amazing and he has an incredible amount of energy on stage! I hope he comes back here soon - I would definitely go and see him again!

Gowan is as good as he was in the 80's! Wow!! He never disappoints.

Very well organized and managed. Parking and entry went smoothly. Tickets, security and ushers were polite and helpful. Gowan was fan-diddly-tastic AGAIN! If the drinks were a tad less expensive I would have partaken. Just a super evening out! I got home and purchased tickets for my next show at Club Regent! Thanks so much!

GOWAN put on a great show. Incredible amount of energy. Gowan did not stop until the show was over. Just short of 2 hours. The supporting cast performed great. Would recommend going to them ! Great stage presence. Great set.

The show started promptly at 8pm. There was a brief intro by a local DJ, and then Gowan hit the stage. His voice and the music were incredible. Decked out in full Scottish regalia, Gowan commanded the stage and audience with excellent backup from his fellow bandmates (including his son on drums and brother on bass). Gowan engaged the audience frequently and nailed his hits. A solo piano piece was inserted by the piano maestro from his contribution to the Styx album The Mission. Stunning virtuosity. Criminal Mind and Strange Animal ended the main set on a very high note. Moonlight Desires closed the show as the encore song. All in all a great show from a great singer and band.

I love it when you see a live performance and it exceeds your expectations. Age has not slowed down his performance nor altered his voice. Incredible showmanship and humour was the icing on the cake. That voice will blow your mind and socks off! Worth it to see again.

The concert was excellent. He was worth going to see. I had tickets two years ago and it was canceled because of Covid. I’m very happy I got to finally see him he put on a fantastic show I recommend other friends to go and see him. I would go again

Gowan is truly one of the best there is. His always phenomenal voice has lost nothing and the showmanship has gotten even greater. Don’t miss him if you get the chance.

Amazing concert at the Danforth Music Hall! Gowan played all of his hits which pleased the sell-out crowd coming out on a huge blizzard night in Toronto. Fantastic piano solo - hidden talents as a classical pianist. Sound adjusted during the intermission? Much better in the second half. Great to hear Criminal Minds, I'm a Strange Animal, etc. live in such an intimate venue. Great shout outs to Scarborough, Ontario - Gowan is one of ours and we are proud of him! Hope to see him again! Danforth Music Hall could use a bit of a makeover, surprised the plaster does not drop from the ceiling with every bass note.

I felt like I was a teenager again back at the Ontario Place Forum. Except the Danforth Music Hall is an even better venue with great acoustics and not a bad seat in the house. Incredibly, Gowan was even better too. I absolutely loved Gowan's performances back then, 30+ years ago, but the show 3 days ago was better than ever. What an amazing talent. While he pokes fun at himself aging, fact of the matter is he's energetic, theatrical, and dramatic as ever and still had the pipes as back in the day (song writing skills and piano virtuosity goes without saying). There was such a great vibe in the room, a fantastic show...and then they played Guerilla Soldier and it went from incredible to downright magical. From that point on the energy in the room went through the roof. So much more to say but this is way too long, so I'll just add what an incredible band he's assembled, world class drummer Todd Sucherman (who he also plays alongside with Styx) did an epic drum solo and Gowan's piano version of Limelight as tribute to Neil Peart.

Awesome show!! Lots of energy and good mix of songs. I just wish it lasted longer. 2 hours is not enough. Wanted the show to go on!!

I went to see Gowan with a friend who is a huge fan. I had little expectations but was super impressed with the show and Gowan's piano skills and voice. He was also very engaging and funny. A true professional!

He is always fantastic! Love love love him. I just wish others would realize the rest of us paid for tickets to see Gowan, not you. Be respectful to the people around you.

We used this concert as a backdrop to a family get together. I think that I enjoyed the concert for than the family. I'd like to see them again; the family, and Gowan. lol
