  • Absolutely Amazing!

by c-unicorn.69 on 2024-01-24Great Canadian Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5

Such a great show! The smaller theatre makes for a much better show, more intimate. The bands were phenomenal! Slaughter was so good, and Great White were amazing! Brett Carlisle did some interaction with the crowd after the show, and he was so nice and down to earth! My 17 year old daughter was in heaven as she got a couple of selfies with him. I hope they come back to Vancouver soon, I would go see them again and again!

  • Slaughter Killed, Great White Toothless

by Scotty P on 2024-01-24Great Canadian Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 3 out of 5

It’s difficult to take a classic rock band and replace old parts with shiny new ones. While Mark Slaughter may have been a little rough around the edges, the band came off as authentic with good energy. They cycled through their hits despite their backline blowing a breaker at one point. The on stage posing and antics were on point. Great White however technical their performance was, had no edge. A young singer really can’t project the rock pedigree the band once had; the vocals were great but he hasn’t figured out that swaggering front man presence. We left early to play the slots.

The show was amazing, Slaughter played some super classic hits and sounded awesome!! Great White followed and it was shocking to see the lead singer was so young, 26. We had no idea they had gone through so many singers, but this guy ROCKED, he did the OG Great White tracks justice, the whole band was amazing and we really enjoyed the show! Love them even more than ever 💯‼️

  • More or faster bartenders needed!

by LB on 2024-01-23Great Canadian Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 1 out of 5

The venue at the Great Canadian Casino has the capacity of the Commodore but only 4 slow bartenders. 1 cash only with no signage that caused me to miss a couple songs. It felt like half my time was wasted waiting in the bar line, which happened for both bands! This show should’ve been at the Commodore an easier location to get to & short walk from Skytrain!

Had an absolutely rockin' time at the Slaughter and Great White show on Jan. 20 at Hard Rock Vancouver! Both bands showed up and gave us everything they had! Loved it!

  • Pretty good

by RATT on 2024-01-23Great Canadian Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 4 out of 5

Saw Great White and Slaughter on this night. Slaughter was pretty good seemed to have some sound issue but overall good. Great White sounded really good. The new lead singer and bass player are really young and don’t seem to fit the band visually but they sound great and the singer is great, if you want to hear the songs I’d recommend it.

Gave 4 stars only bcuz I’ve always wanted to see the bands, however, the sound was not the greatest. Could not really hear the words of the songs.

  • Never disappoints

by yankicanuk on 2016-10-18Deerfoot Inn & Casino - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

My best friend & I make this an annual event & the guys never disappoint. Both bands have been favorites of mine since the beginning & I still enjoy seeing them every time. It seemed as if Slaughter was having problems with the sound guys and then Great White the same, motioning to the mixers. To me, it sounded great. Can't wait until next year.

Flew from Canada to Vegas just to see the show. Was a little disappointed on the seating, I like to stand. The room was large & sound was great. Slaughter opened and never missed a beat. They still sound amazing and are so much fun to watch. They crowd was wonderful and very much enjoyed Mark & the guys! Great White was next & as always (I've seen both bands over 6 times) they did not disappoint! I will be seeing the duo again in October in Calgary, Alberta & am so looking forward to it!!!

  • Great White & Slaughter 80's Invasion was Superb!

by YourFaveWitch on 2014-10-14Club Regent Casino - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

The Meet and Greet for both Bands was Fantastic ! Even though our time was limited, it ran smoothly without incident. Pretty much a Life Long fan of BOTH bands, and I have seen each band play at different venues over the last 20 yrs. I LOVE how intimate Club Regent's Event Centre is. Slaughter and Great White rocked the venue... Personally I'm torn bc I truly love both bands, heart and soul. SO I cannot say that one band was better than the other... BUT Kudos to Mark (Slaughter) for wandering thru the crowd... Both Vocalists for each band (Mark/Slaughter) (Terry ILous/GreatWhite) were extremely impressive with their Range and power of their voices. Both Bands entertained and wowed the crowd... 5 stars Although I was in the Party Pit on the Floor, I did walk around the venue, truly there is not a single bad seat in the house.! My Only Complaint was the Bar Service or EXTREME lack thereof... Even with both bars open (Inside the venue and out front) The lines were ridicuously long and service was pitifully slow despite having as many staff as they did. There should be a seperate line for those of us who only want a Pepsi/Water or any non alcoholic beverage,

  • Still & Always AMAZING!

by yankicanuk on 2013-10-29Deerfoot Inn & Casino - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Love when either Slaughter or Great White comes to the Deerfoot Casino but together...even better! My only complaint is the seating! Loved when Deerfoot had a standing up front area... It's still a great place to see a show.

  • Sinful memories of Great White & Slaughter

    by Sassyredhead01 on 2013-10-29Deerfoot Inn & Casino - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

The Halloween Howeler with Great White & Slaughter at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino brought back many sinful memories with their music down memory lane. Their performances brought back many exciting & blushing memories of yester years. Mark Kendall's performance was exciting, demonstrating his skillful mastery of the guitar. Michael, Audie & Scott were sinfully enticing & engaging. Only regret of the evening...the show had to end!

  • still got great music and musicians!

by Anonymous on 2010-08-11Deerfoot Inn & Casino - CalgaryRating: 1 out of 5

The Lead singer of Great White seems to be dragging them down. He should stay home and rest until he recovers from his illnesses. Although I am a compationate person I would have preferred a cancelation than to walk away disappointed. Or just hear the music without the lead singer. :(
