About

Formed in 1985 in Los Angeles, Guns N' Roses are one of the best-selling rock acts in history. Apart from more than 100 million records sold worldwide (including their 18-times platinum debut Appetite for Destruction), the group is also a formidable live act, regularly selling out stadiums and headlining major festivals. They performed for the first time as Guns N' Roses in June 1985 at the Troubadour in Hollywood, Calif. and have hardly left the road since, though the band has undergone various lineup changes. The 2016-2019 Not In This Lifetime… Tour — which featured classic lineup members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan performing together for the first time since 1993 — is one of the highest-grossing runs in history. To date, Guns N’ Roses have grossed $774.1 million and sold 9.6 million tickets over 453 shows.

    Guns N' Roses !!!

    by drseuss69 on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

That was one of THE best concerts ive ever been too. Right up there with ac dc and metallica. The amount of energy that axel gave off was electrifying and the fact that he waited so long to start just kept getting me more pumped by each minute that passed. If you missed this concert i feel bad for you.

Way too many new songs. Way too late. Axl left stage far too much - ridiculous. Hardly said anything to crowd. Horrible front man. Arrogant. They're not that great to have such an attitude.

    axl still has it

by wheezer on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

it was a an amazing concert, Axl still can proform, still can pack a stadium. you got to see 3 bands play for the price of a ticket. The pyro was very well put together, the stage was bigger than the last time I went i enjoyed it was a fan

Guns n Roses was unforgetable BADDDDD!

by vwlove on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

Probably the worst concert I have been to in the MTS Center. The sound was awful, you could not understand most of the songs, Axil spent most of the night running off stage, very unforgetable!

great opening bands and axl can still rock it. the stage setup is cool with two runways on the side that come up into the stands. i was standing eye to eye with the band members from 5 feet away. great show

    GNR was electric

by Tundratraveller on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

When have you been entertained at a concert for 3 hrs.? Lucky Winnipeggers and visitors to the Peg found the wait well worth it--Axle's energy and distinctive voice belting out the favorites Sweet Child of Mine, the dynamic Live and Let Die and the show closer, Paradise City. The electric light and video show complimented the main act. The treat was Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, Richard Fortus and DJ Ashba's solos playing to the audience and Izzy Stradlin at the piano. Not a stranger to the piano was Axle playing November Rain. Rock and Roll is timeless and ageless and Axle and GNR proved it!

    Guns N Roses was amazing!

by CrispyDeath on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

This was the greatest concert I've ever been to. They came on reasonably early for Guns N Roses (10:40) and played for almost 3 hours! I saw a you tube video of "This I Love" from Japan I think that didn't sound super great, but when they played it last night, it was unbelievable! The band looked great with lots of energy as did Axl, running around the stage like a man half his age! The only issue I had with the concert was getting pushed around a lot in the crowd, but that's not GNR's fault. Sometimes that's the price you pay to be on the floor and get up close to a band!

    GnR was AWESOME!!

    by Mitchel1981 on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

Overall my time at the concert was amazing! We had floor seats which made it a little difficult to see at times but still was great! Security was wonderful, as soon as mischief came up they dealt with it very quickly with a no nonsense policy!! First act was not bad, second was pretty good but when Axl got up there he delivered a great performance!! Well worth the money! Parking was also very good! Overall i give this a 10 out of 10! Will defenately go again next time he's out!! Would have liked to been able to take pictures though!

    Welcome to the Jungle

    by Diamonds5 on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

Guns and Roses rocked! Axel voice seemed a bit slow to warm up but once it did he did NOT disapoint! He's still got it! An awesome visual and sound display and left me feeling like a teenager again! I went with my two teenage children and we had a blast! It's great to see that they appreciate the new songs as well as the old!! LOVE LOVE LOVED it!!!!

Guns & Roses - long wait but worth it.

    by zn918 on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

Wasn't impressed with Dracko Jones - LOVED Sabastien Bach!!! Guns and Roses gave awesome show but there was an hour wait between Sabastien Bach and GNR. Concert didn't end until 1:20. Some of our party had to leave at 11:30 due to work the next day so only saw 1/2 hour of GNR

    long evening

    by Kat17 on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

It was terrible. Either Axil can't sing anymore or the sound man should be fired. Waste of money and sleep.

    Guns & Roses Sucked

    GnR was awesome

by Dazzer on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

Thought Axl was on fire last night. He seems to be a kinder, gentler Axl. His interaction with the crowd was awesome. This is the 3rd time I've seen them (1st was over 20 years ago when they opened for the Cult), and even after almost 3 hours on stage, I wanted more.

    Winnipeg Show

by FormerGNRFan on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

The show started WAY TOO LATE!! The sound SUCKED for all three shows, you could hardly hear any one of the singers from any of the bands. Since when does there need to be 6-7 different solos performed by a bunch of no name musicians during a concert. Waiting 1.5 hours for GNR to come on was ridiculous!!!!

    Blown away

by candykane on 2010-01-14MTS Centre - Winnipeg

I was blown away at axels performance he is just an awesome singer, rocker and was just lively! I just can't believe how good he was even without all the technologies we have to enhance the voice and stuff he's very very good for his age! Yes i would definately say that the show for me was unforgettable this was by a long shot the best concert i have ever been to and i will never ever forget it!
