Mesmerizing… unbelievable energy and pace….great history of Gloria snd the times. Nice to have had audience’s feedback at the end! Wish this could have been filmed.
We both enjoyed the production. It left us with a lot of questions which we discussed after the show over coffe. Thank you all
Really enjoyed the Gloria play. Wonderful productions Thanks everybody involved
Disappointed that one week before Chanukah with so many children there and given the name of the performing group, they did not focus on those holiday songs. Our granddaughter was all geared up for some Chanukah songs. Beside that a good performance. They sounded better singing the one song live without the microphones. They should focus more on that as well if the venue is small with very good acoustics.
gentle, authentic, great music, singing, words, nicely done and powerful My goy husband also loved it
I lot of f-words and vulgar jokes, no Jewish music.
Great theatre. Clean, spacious foyer & seating, nice food/drink options. Interesting & varied plays and performances. Easy parking nearby. Highly recommend.
The five actors/musicians on stage were suburb. The story was heartfelt. Caplan was amazing.
I emailed my comments to producers Avery Salzman and David Eisner on Sunday Hello, I just came home from Nov 13 Sunday matinee of Old Stock at Meridian Theatre. I feel compelled to let you know my opinion. A melancholy , tender sweet story full of musicality was absolutely ruined with the vulgarity, sexual innuendos, and needless use of the “F” word. I highly doubt that your audience needed any of it. Music was engaging, voices of the young couple were very melodious and pleasant, but the narrator should clean up his mouth. Wrecked it for me. Wonderful to have Jewish theatre but not with this kind of “Edgy”. Btw, Kittel and Tallis but no yalmulke? Huh? Wouldn’t hurt to add the yalmulke.
I was underwhelmed with the magic show that Vitaly put on. It was entertaining, but far from some of the other magic shows that I have seen.
The Great Divide was a powerful show. The company pulled out all the stops to make it a special event. The only problem is that I don't love the high ceiling of the theatre space because it tends to dull the voices of the performers and the sound design. But besides that, I loved it!
Brilliant performance! Well crafted, beautifully played, wonderfully told and lovely to watch! 5 STARS PLUS! Sherry
We were so emotional. What a brilliant way to tell the story .
This is a very moving and engrossing performance by a uniquely gifted artist
Not to be missed! the pianist of willesden lane was terrific
It was nothing but phenomenal...the monologues, the acting, the story!!! It will definitely give you chills!!!
This is a lovely version of a great show. Acting and staging is excellent.
Great acting, small intimate theater, and we'll put together show. One complaint. Seats hurt.
Mikveh is an incredible production. Holds one hostage to a consciousness of the struggles, the expectations, the limitations, the obligations, of orthodox Jewish women. However, the many 'chapters' of a handful of women, can represent oppression and control of many around the world. What a powerful production!
