About

Heart formed in Seattle, Washington in 1973 and have rocked on through the years under the sibling core of Ann and Nancy Wilson. The group has released 16 studio albums, hitting the Top 10 seven times and topping the Billboard 200 with 1985’s Heart. The band have sold nearly 35 million albums worldwide. Early rock staples such as “Crazy on You,” "Barracuda” and “Magic Man” gave way to greater mainstream success in the ’80s with the group’s first Hot 100 chart-toppers, "These Dreams" in 1986 and "Alone” in 1987. Despite developing their own solo careers after their first hiatus in 1995, the Wilson sisters have reunited as Heart several times. In 2013, Heart was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band have received four career Grammy nominations and received The Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023.

Best show ever. These ladies know how to put on a show. Fantastic The music was beautiful

  • They still got it

    by VE4HAY on 2016-03-20MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

Ann certainly has not lost anything after all these years. her voice is still incredible. Nancy still hold the group together with her great guitar skill. A little disappointed however as she only did one high kick all night ling. But then again she could have been nursing a hangover as her birthday was a day before.

  • HEART -The First Ladies of Rock 'n Roll!

by GloriaGrace on 2016-03-20Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

The Ultimate VIP experience was Amazing! Seeing the backstage areas and hanging out with super fans of Heart was great. MEETING ANN AND NANCY.... UNFORGETTABLE! Seeing Joan Jett perform first and Heart took the stage was a second to none experience. Being in the front row, hearing up close the perfect pitch of these ladies of Rock was truly a night to remember! I highly recommend seeing this concert

  • Heart rocks it again !!

    by Sam26 on 2016-03-20MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

I've seen Heart about 7 times now in approx 10 years & I think their getting better with time . Ann is undisputed the best female rock singer or probably anything else for that matter , since decades . She honestly sends shivers through me & NEVER disappoints ! Ann can still certainly hold her own & is a damn good musician. Together they are so tight . The rest of the band are good , only wish guitar player had any kind of personality, we always seem to comment on how stuff he is & NO personality? Kinda weird . We as an audience should feel he's enjoying being there . All in all I would yet go back again if they came as its like medicine they transform u somehow to a better place . Love all the old stuff & can even appreciate the new ! You go girls . You believe they love what they do & have lots of energy to match it . Huge fan & again that voice WOW

  • Jett and Heart

by DGWin on 2016-03-20MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

From start to finish both Joan Jett and Heart show that age has not slowed them down. Impressive that their voices have held up over the years. The energy of the show was excellent as well.

by Anonymous on 2016-03-20MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Joan Jett and Heart were amazing! Years gone by certainly haven't changed anything for these ladies: they put on an incredible show. Their voices were like they always were: clear, crisp and radiant.

  • Enjoyable evening with HEART!!

by RJDD on 2016-03-19SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

This was a enjoyable concert for the whole family, our kids liked it as much as we did. Joan Jett rocked it out, then Heart came out and proved why these girls are superstars.

  • Queens of Sheba

by gedsin65 on 2016-03-19SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

The gals all rocked it. Get out and see them before they or you are to old to do this anymore. Played all the best songs! First time seeing them so glad I got the chance!

  • Good but disappointed

by Pudgy on 2016-03-19SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 3 out of 5

Joan Jett and Ann and Nancy who are 58-66 yrs of age put on a really good show but what was disappointing for me is hearts last three songs were led Zeppelin covers. I went to see Heart play there own songs and they have enough of there own songs to choose from so it was a real let down at the end

  • Heart/Joan Jett - Saskatoon

by GoldMiner on 2016-03-19SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 4 out of 5

Heart were ok but Nnancy needs to get into the stage more and get interactive with the crowd Joan Jett rocked just like she was still in her early age - Fantatsic Performance

  • Still got it!!!

by jnakonechny on 2016-03-19SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

Wow! This was an awesome concert. Joan Jett sure knows how to rock and roll. Joan kept the audience in the palm of her hands. Heart still has it. They sang all the hits and sounded amazing.

  • featured groups were awesome

by alivers on 2016-03-19SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 4 out of 5

too many intervals too much time before each group. opening act was not adequate. Joan jet and the Blackhearts and Heart were fantastic, couldn't have asked for a better performance. The venue should have screens for people to watch the show on in various places around the arena at least 2 at the sides of the stage, I am short in stature and didn't see very much of the show at all I found this very disappointing. I've been to shows in Calgary at the dome with better visuals.

  • Queens of Sheba

by ToonTown2 on 2016-03-19SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

Joan Jett rocked all our favs and didn't disappoint. Brought back so many memories. Great band Blackhearts. What an icon! Heart had great sound. The best I have heard in a long time. Ann and Nancy were awesome. Ann can still belt it out. Beyoncé you got nothing on her. Very entertaining and the musicianship a treat to hear. A rabid fan tried to rush the stage. The ladies still got it.

  • Amazing

by loulabell on 2016-03-19SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely the best concert I have seen, the voices haven't changed, it was amazing to hear such strong talent and age has not affected their talent at all. Highly recommend going to see them if you where a fan of theirs.

  • excellent show

Joan Jett and Heart. Great combination. Both bands sounded amazing and the songs they played were awesome. Vocals phenomenal!! Didn't sound like any auto tune to me! Just great music without alot of distractions.

  • You need to see Heart now!!

by flyer11 on 2016-03-19SaskTel Centre (Formerly Credit Union Centre) - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

Ann Wilson is back. Her on stage presence is back to that of the way she was at the start of Heart and through to the late 80's. Confidant, engaging, mobile, and chock full of musical fury. It was a brilliant site to witness. The look of Joy on her sisters and other band members faces, and the knowing glances they gave each other as Ann worked the crowd, was joyous; as it was apparent they were also grateful Ann Was back... If you have seen Heart during the 90's well you have not seen this version of Heart, so go again. you will be thankful you did. We all love you ANN!
